We've been dreaming about sesame chicken strips for some time.

Over the last few weeks, we've been day dreaming about *finally* being reunited with our favourite fast food treats.

And now, TGI Fridays has announced it will launch a new click and collect service at a number of restaurants across the UK from Wednesday 6th May. We're drooling just thinking about its return.

The American restaurant chain made the decision to temporarily close all of its restaurants on 20th March, but has now restored takeaway services at 24 restaurants across the UK.

As well as click and collect, Just Eat and Deliveroo will also restore their delivery services from the selected 24 locations, except for Leeds (Birstall Junction 27).

TGI explain the specific sites have been chosen where the company either own or control the car park, or they have been granted dedicated access.

A special, tailored menu has been introduced for the launch, but don't worry, it's made up of 22 dishes with appetisers, mains, desserts and kids options, meaning TGI fans will soon be able to tuck into their favourites once again.

To place an order, all you need to do is head to the TGI Fridays website and choose a slot between 12pm-9pm. You'll then be advised how to collect your food safely.

Once you've arrived at the restaurant, TGI explain you'll need to follow signs to the car park before parking up, opening the boot of your car and returning safely to your vehicle.

You'll then need to call the restaurant to let them know you've arrived and they'll pop out and leave the order in your (already opened) boot.

The selected 24 restaurants are as follows: Ashton Under Lyne, Basildon, Birmingham (Hagley Road), Cardiff (Newport Road), Cheadle, Cheltenham, Cheshire Oaks, Enfield, Fort Kinnaird Edinburgh, Gateshead, Glasgow Fort, High Wycombe, Leeds (Birstall Junction 27), Lakeside (West Thurrock St), Leeds (Wellington St), Northampton, Prestwich, Reading (Caversham Road), Sale, Sheffield, Southampton (Harbour Parade), Stevanage, Teesside and Watford North.

Robert B. Cook, CEO at TGI Fridays said: "We can't wait to re-fire the grills in preparation for the launch of our new Click & Collect service in 24 selected locations. These initial sites have been chosen as we either own and can control the car park or the landlord has given us dedicated access.

"We will also be restoring delivery services at the same locations via Just Eat and Deliveroo, as applicable. We will continue to monitor UK Government advice but after an initial trial we aim to extend the rollout as soon as it is safe to do so."

Now we just need to decide what we will be ordering first...
