B&M Is Selling Shimmery Candy Cane Gin Liqueur Just In Time For Christmas

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

B&M has just released a candy cane gin that is set to get everyone into the Christmas spirit.

With not long to go until the big day, this 20 per cent gin liqueur called What Lies Beneath, comes in a festive red bottle and the drink itself sparkles when shaken, stirred or poured - it'll make quite the talking point at a Christmas party.

The gin costs £9.99 for a 50cl bottle. (

The boozy beverage, inspired by the symbol of the season, is available now but only in store and will set you back £9.99 for a 50cl bottle.

Apparently it smells just like a candy shop and is infused with strawberry flavouring which is balanced with hints of peppermint for a fresh finish to this sweet tipple.

We think it'll be great for the build up to Christmas, when you inevitably host drinks, or for a fun present for a gin-obsessed pal. It's going top of our list anyway.

And because it is half the per cent of typical gins, we think it'll only need a small splash of tonic, or will make a great addition to a glass of prosecco. Hello Christmas cocktails!

But if you prefer your drinks to be more in the alcopop form, B&M also has candy cane flavoured VKs in stock until the end of December. Retro!

It isn't the only place to offer up festive tipples this season either.

Tesco is selling a mince pie gin by TW Kempton, flavoured with spiced fruits and it sounds delicious. But if you fancy trialling a new gin each day in the build up to 25th December, you could get Costco's gin advent calendar.

You really are spoilt for choice when it comes to booze for the holiday season this year.

Maybe even Santa will prefer to shake things up and swig the Candy Cane or Mince Pie tipple on Christmas Eve in 2019, instead of the usual sherry when he does his rounds?
