Asda Is Selling A Pink Shimmery Cherry Blossom Gin For Valentine's Day

Asda Is Selling A Pink Shimmery Cherry Blossom Gin For Valentine's Day

Forget a box of chocolates, Asda is selling a pink shimmery cherry blossom gin and if you ask us, it's the perfect way to show your love for a friend or partner.

Inspired by the flavours of Japan, the Cherry Blossom and Lychee Gin Liqueur is the latest in Asda's Extra Special range and priced at just £10 for 50cl.

The sweet and fruity tipple can be enjoyed alone or - even better - Asda recommend pairing with prosecco to make a delicious gin cocktail.

You could even go wild and add some frozen cherries and a slice of lemon before loading with ice for the ultimate Valentine's treat.

If its fruity taste wasn't tempting enough, shoppers are also loving the gin's mystical appearance - simply shake the bottle and watch it shimmer.

Marion Muir, Asda's Product Developer, said: "Valentine's Day is the perfect excuse to remind loved ones just how much you care, adding special finishing touches, like a deliciously romantic gin liqueur, to your evening can make it extra special.

"At Asda, customers love our innovative flavour combinations and we're passionate about giving our customers more of what they want. We create delicious products that deliver on quality and price so that our customers don't have to compromise - especially on special occasions like Valentine's Day!"

If you can't wait until Valentine's Day to try the shimmery gin, you don't have to as it's currently available in stores and online.

And if you're a sucker for a pink cocktail - there's another boozy treat you can try.

A bar in Glasgow has made a delicious looking cocktail out of Marks and Spencer's Percy Pig dessert sauce.

The stunning pink, fruity tipple is embellished with candy-floss, a generous squeeze of sauce and a cute Percy Pig sweet.

We think these would both make the perfect celebratory drink to mark the end of Dry Jan, don't you?
