Quarantine-induced boredom is forcing many of us tackle cleaning jobs we've been putting off for a fair bit of time.
In this past week alone we've polished our skirting boards, decluttered our sock drawers and even debobbled our clothes - and cleaning our makeup brushes is creeping further up the list.

Lucky, then, that we've just discovered the best hack ever for doing the job thanks to beauty blogger Jamie Genevieve.
The YouTuber shared her hack - which will see your brushes spick and span in mere seconds - using something we all have in our home: a sieve.
Shared on her social channels, Jamie begins by filling her sink (a bowl works well, too) with warm soapy water. Jamie "swears by" Dr Bronner's 18-in-1 Rose Pure-Castile Soap if you want to do it properly.

Next, she takes her dirty brush, dips it in the soapy water, and then, grabbing the baking utensil, gives it a quick scrub on the bottom side.
Et voila! Literally seconds later, her brushes are sparkly clean.
How good is that?!
"This is literally the quickest way to wash your brushes, I've done it for years," she tells her followers on TikTok. "Try it out for yourself, it's the best."

Noted!
Saying that though, it's not like we're getting much use out of our makeup brushes RN. In fact, most of our beauty routines have undergone some drastic changed since we were put on coronavirus lockdown.
For many, the prospect of not having to see anyone outside of our immediate family *by order of the government* has been liberating.
For others, no access to hair, nail, tan and lash professionals means we're being forced to perform DIY jobs on ourselves. And it isn't coming without its challenges.
