As the darker nights draw in, so does the temptation to darken our hair, pull out the wooly jumpers and drink all the pumpkin spiced lattes in the world.

But for us blondies there has got to be a way to fully embrace the Autumn change without dying away our luscious blonde locks.

Enter: toasted coconut hair, the next big Instagram trend that we're expecting to see everywhere this Autumn.

Influencers across the picture-sharing app are loving the new 'bronde' look which sees a deep brunette hue fade to bright blonde towards the ends.

The gorgeous new do might sound pretty familiar because let's face it, it' pretty much the balayage do that has been around for a few years - but it's here and making a comeback, and we are here for it.

According to Hairs The Bling Instagram account, "bronde, which combines blonde and brown tones, focuses on having more brown all over with dimensional blonde highlights placed throughout. Toasted coconut is less about intermingling the two popular hair colours and more about gradually fading them into each other like a 2018 take on ombre hair."

Roasted coconut hair isn't just a way for blondes to 'Autumn up' their hair, but it's also a handy way for brunettes to add richness and dimension to their hair.

We know what we'll be asking for at the hairdressers this month.
