We've seen some hair dye fails in our time, but this blunder from new mum Hollie Murray is one for the ages.
Hollie had been dyeing her hair black for 12 years, but decided to go for a new look on a whim.
The 25-year-old had been quoted £200 for the new blue and pink look she wanted, so decided to enlist her partner Nathan Hennon to help her do it herself, to save the pennies.

But it didn't go to plan, as despite expecting to leave it on for 45 minutes, Hollie was left in complete agony as the foil that her hair was wrapped in became 'kettle hot' to touch.
In a video, you can literally see wisps of smoke steaming from her blonde locks before she's forced to wash the dye off early.

While the situation sounds rather traumatic to us, Hollie luckily managed to see the funny side, and was apparently in hysterics after dousing her head in cold water.

After conditioning and drying her hair, she discovered that she'd been left with frazzled ginger tresses, which were identical to Harry Enfield's Kevin from Kevin and Perry Go Large.
We're sure don't need to remind you of Kevin's chin-length hairdo, but just in case, here it is:
Hollie, from Bournemouth, Dorset, said: "We sat and giggled about it in disbelief really. [My partner] made the comparison once it was dry and you could see the ginger and that the ends were frazzled.
"He said, 'do you know who you look like? Kevin'. Then he showed me the picture and I was absolutely in bits. It was hilarious.
"I sent it to everyone and they said it was brilliant. I have watched Kevin and Perry I was saying to everyone, 'all I want to do is do it' and loads of other quotes."
She added: "The whole thing was worth it purely for the Kevin thing. I've never seen my mum laugh so much and she needed it.

"I couldn't even be upset or angry about it because it was just so funny. I couldn't get the images out of my head.
"I don't know how my hair survived that but it did. I didn't lose any hair. Now it is starting to snap."
The new mum said that while she'd done her hair herself to save on a hairdresser, she's now had to spend £200 on conditioners and products in a bid to save her hair.
Hollie sought advice from a hairdresser who warned her that her hair was probably delicate due to post-pregnancy hormones and suggested combining the bleach with conditioner instead.
After two more attempts to bleach it across three days, the support worker finally got it to a colour where she could dye it blue as planned.
Her 22-year-old boyfriend Nathan got in on the fun too, and dyed his hair pink - with Hollie comparing their new bright locks to 'skittles'.
Hollie said: "Funnily enough, at the same time as I bleached my hair and dyed it blue, Nathan bleached his hair and dyed it pink. His went perfectly and it is still pink and still lovely.
"It just rubs salt in the wound. His is amazing. He had natural, untouched hair so when it was bleached it went perfectly white for the pink to go on.
"We both had an absolute meltdown, or an early midlife crisis. We look like skittles or Teletubbies, the pair of us."
