It's not unusual for old fashion trends from yesteryear to make an unexpected return, and the latest noughties garb to make a comeback is the skort - and Gen-Z are obsessed by them. In fact, Gen-Z actually think they discovered the ultimate combo-garment.

TikToker talllivingity posted her "discovery" on the social media app and millennials have a lot to say about. Showing off her floral skort, the TikToker started the video by comparing her latest cop to a rarely seen garment: "You know how we get so excited about dresses with pockets," she said.

"I gotta show you this - skirts that are shorts! Like..." she added, lifting up the skirt to show off the matching shorts underneath clearly in awe.

It seems @talllinvingtiny left a lot of millennials feeling old, with dozens of Gen-Z commenters completed shocked after witnessing a skort in action.

"There is a whole group of people who have not heard of skorts. I'm done," said one woman.

A second commenter shared: "Why does gen z keep thinking they found some mystery clothing item that's a skort sweetie, we all wore them in early 2000s."

Another woman wrote: "This is not happening. I am only 33. I can't be this old. I can't."

Talllvingity's video caught the attention of another TikToker, janikon_ who could not handle the fact Gen-Z had no idea what a skort was until now.

See his hilarious reaction below:

"OMG I'm so old," he says while cringing. "Are you saying you were born after skorts and you think it's new."

One woman commented under his reaction, adding: "90s trends are coming back and people are acting like it's something new."

A second woman said: "I legit yelled SKORTS!!! I lived for these in my childhood. I feel so old?"

We wonder what Gen-Z will "discover" next!
