You Can Now Get Face Masks Of Your Pet's Mouth

This is too cute!

As much as we love the fashionable face masks we're seeing coming in fancy gingham and paisley prints, pet-owners who like to take life a bit less seriously might be interested in the following.

An Etsy shop, Dogs And Dorks, is selling custom face masks where you can actually wear your dogs out on your own face. Genius!

The shop will print a mask with the snout of your beloved cat and dog, and it's obviously a popular concept. The shop has already sold over 100 masks in just three weeks.

Danielle Schule, 44, who owns the shop with her friend Denise Smandych, 39, said she was inspired by her dog Ragley's crooked teeth.

"I was staring at my computer and my Boston terrier smiled at me," said the operations manager, from Calgary, Canada.

"I snapped a picture of him, his teeth are so gross and funny and I decided to put them on a mask."

Happy customers have been sending in photos of them wearing their masks alongside their bemused furry friends.

"They make people laugh," Danielle said. "I have received a lot of requests because it makes it more fun for the kids to wear masks.

"They have been home since April with their pets."

That hasn't stopped the ladies getting some weird requests: a snake owner has been asked for a mask printed with the fangs of his pet reptile.

"He sent us a fantastic picture and we did it and he was ecstatic," she added.

The masks cost £12.09 with delivery from Canada costing £6.05. Owner simply supply the best and clearest image they can of their dog's face.

Danielle added she hopes the funny masks will make people more inclined to wear them amid the pandemic.

"Personally I do not understand the whole anti-mask feeling," she said. "If we can create something that makes mask-wearing a bit more fun, we want to do that.

"Wearing a mask is such a small simple thing to do to stop the spread of coronavirus."

Much better than 'normal' masks, don't you think?
