It was Valentine’s Day earlier this week, with happy couples all across the world letting their significant other know how much they mean to them.

However, the efforts from some of the men in our lives left a lot to be desired, with one woman sharing the flowers and card she received from her beau on TikTok.

You can watch the video below.

While her boyfriend meant well, TikTok user Beth Walton had people in hysterics when she shared the concise card that accompanied her bouquet of flowers that arrived on February 14th.

Having attracted nearly half a million views and 55,000 likes, viewers couldn’t help but shriek with laughter at the gift.

“Out of all the things I thought it could’ve been this wasn’t it,” one person wrote in the comments, adding cry-laughing emojis.

“Your full government names!” said a second person, amused by the card.

“Hahahahaah straight to the point!” laughed a third, while a fourth added: “That’s hilarious but omg the flowers are so pretty!”

It’s the thought that counts, right?

However, Beth seemed more than happy that her boyf opted to send such a concise card.

“I’m slightly relieved it ain’t a cheesy message tbh!” she replied to one person.

Better luck next year, Beth!

Another person who was left slightly underwhelmed by her Valentine’s Day card was Chrissy Teigen.

You’d think being married to John Legend would mean out of all of us, Chrissy would have the most beautifully written love letter to cherish.

Well, unfortunately no.

Legend may be a soulful songster, but he’s also a typical bloke who chooses to keep things short and sweet.

However, Chrissy couldn’t help but laugh at John’s succinct Valentine’s Day card.

Sharing a picture on Instagram, the mum-of-two wrote: “Dead. I guess he saves it all for the songs.”

You can read John’s ‘heartfelt’ message to Chrissy here.
