A single mum has claimed men 'ghost' her after the first date when they find out one, certain thing.

Now, it's safe to say that the majority of us will have had some kind of experience with 'ghosting' in our dating lives... and those who will agree it's certainly not the nicest thing to experience.

But one mum has claimed to be a pro when it comes to dealing with being ghosted, and it's all for one reason, apparently.

42-year-old Chanel, who goes by @Callme.chanelx on TikTok, has taken to the platform to reveal how she rarely gets past the first date.

In one of her recent uploads, Chanel is seen teasing the camera by showing off just her leg while wearing black stockings, along with the onscreen caption: "Guys always ghost me after the first date when they realise..."

The self-described 'hot momma' then appears on screen - looking pretty amazing, we must add - after pointing towards the video's main caption, which reads: "I’m a 42 yo mom of 2 grown boys."

The video has attracted more than 413,000 views and has certainly left Chanel's 17.4K followers baffled over how such a thing could happen.

One follower wrote: "Nah she ain’t getting ghosted. Ever," while another said: "when they realise you are such a beauty? naaah do not believe It."

Someone else then, quite rightly, pointed out: "Then they ghosted a queen."

Chanel didn't indulge further into her experiences with being ghosted and it's currently unclear if she's since had any successful first dates... but the single mum is clearly living her best life as she regularly shows off her amazing looks and incredible fitness.

Of course, Chanel isn't the only single mum who's absolutely crushing it, as two other single mums recently opened up about how they decided to move in together.

New Zealanders Samantha Best, 24, and Lauren Robinson, 26, are best friends who decided to move in together after Samantha broke up with her partner in April 2021.

Lauren is mum to daughter Haidyn, five, and Samantha is mum to son, Kaelin, four, and the two women have described themselves as inseparable.

"It's so much easier living with Lauren," Samantha said of their set up.

Being a single mum can be undoubtedly challenging.

"We've been able to split our finances and we are able to help each other with childcare if one of us is busy the other can pick them both up from school, or if either of us need to go out the other can watch the two children."

She added: "We always know we will have a babysitter if needed as well, it's great. I live with my best friend and Kaelin and Haidyn have a sibling figure for each other."
