A woman has revealed a secret hack to bag free holidays using credit card points.

Yasemin Kaya, 27, says despite being money-savvy she's been able to enjoy luxury holidays without the luxury price tag since stumbling across the hack.

Kaya recently used credit card points, earned from daily spending, on two weekend getaways with off-grid holiday company Unplugged.

Using the credit card to cover 98% of her everyday spending, she managed to earn enough points to visit remote luxury cabins in Sussex and North Wales with her partner.

“Taking a break for myself is never easy - I feel guilty about the price,” she says. “Having the majority of the costs covered by points really helped and gave me time to switch off from the world in the middle of nowhere.”

“They were both such unique experiences and two of my favourite holidays so far, made even better by being able to fund it with points I earned from everyday spending.”

But her bank balance isn’t just covering last-minute getaways. Since joining the credit card company, she has also been able to ‘cover the bill’ at more than 10 restaurants and has even upgraded her makeup bag with luxury skincare buys from BeautyPie.

Now, she’s trying to save up enough points to cover the cost of flights for her upcoming birthday.

So, how can you claim free holidays too?

Described as a credit card for modern explorers, a membership will let you earn points anywhere in the world - which can then be spent on new experiences.
