There's plenty of relaxing things about going on holiday - from sunshine, beaches and swimming in the sea.

What's not relaxing about travelling for a beach or poolside holiday, however, is the mad fight for a sunbed around the pool on holiday.

From getting up early, reserving loungers with towels and the tense exchange if someone has 'stolen' someone else's sunbed - it's all pretty awkward.

Yet one woman thinks she might have the resolution with an unusual travel hack.

TikToker, Laura Jayne Lowe, shared her savvy travel hack in a video where she documented how 'anxiety is going to ruin my holiday'. Watch the video here:

In the social media clip, she explained how the sunbeds are all chained up and cornered until someone takes them off at around 8:30 in the morning.

Rather than wait in the queue, which Laura explained had people lining up from 6am to try and grab, Laura has taken her holiday packing one step further and brought her own portable sun lounger.

In the clip she reveals her latest purchase as she asked viewers: "Am I an absolute d*ckhead or am I an absolute genius - I do not know."

The TikToker then explained how the bed only weighs 2kg and can be laid down completely flat in her case.

Others think Laura's idea is an excellent one as someone wrote: "Genius. where did you buy it please."

Another added: "Genius 😂😂 I’m actually tempted to get one I hate sun bed wars I’m on holiday I ain’t getting up at 6am."

And a third shared: "Haha love this!!!"

Laura's TikTok hack isn't the only holiday tip to enjoy a stress free holiday, as another TikTok account shared the ultimate hack for getting through security stress free.

Speaking on her TikTok travel account, Raimee has shared many travel hacks but this one she explains is something travellers 'NEED to know'.

In a TikTok clip, she explained: "If you’re flying out of London Heathrow anytime soon, you need to know about THIS. So you can avoid the crazy long security line... This is the coolest thing I’ve seen any airport do.

"They have a new thing called Timeslot that allows you to schedule when you go through security."

The beauty of the Timeslot - which is currently being trialled at Heathrow - is you're booking your security pass, which means less waiting in queues and getting through speedier.

The security hack was so impressive to seasoned traveller Raimee, that she told viewers: "I am not kidding when I say I got through Heathrow security in less than five minutes - and that has never happened to me at an international airport.

"So remember to use this the next time you fly out of Heathrow."
