Sabrina Carpenter appears to have almost been hit by a firework at a show in San Francisco.

Footage from her live set at the Outside Lands music festival on Saturday (10 August) shows how Carpenter was nearly struck by the firework which caused her to scream and run away from her stage spot.

The 25-year-old 'Please Please Please' hitmaker can be seen shrieking and covering her face after seemingly making contact with the stage prop.

She ran towards her back up dancers following the incident.

Fans on social media have been left concerned for the star despite it not seeming like she had been injured.

One person wrote: "The genuine TERROR like girl u are FINE but this is me i fear."

Another added: "Wait omg I think Sabrina Carpenter got hurt and burned by the fireworks!!"

A third said: "HELP! IS SHE OKAY?"

Alfredo Flores, a photographer/videographer who regularly collaborates with Carpenter, shared a snap of the stage on X following the performance.

He wrote: "That pyro ate me up tonight. it’s still in my eye but what a night! sabs first time headlining a festival and it was epic. short n sweet in 13 days!"

During the performance, Carpenter was wearing a glittery dress and a pair of signature knee high boots.

She is yet to comment publicly on the moment.

Earlier this month, Carpenter celebrated her smash hit 'Espresso' gaining one billion streams on Spotify.

She shared the milestone on Instagram which boasted: "Sabrina Carpenter's Espresso is the newest member of the Billions Club. Thanks to the fans."

The singer then wrote beneath it: "Holy s***!!! Thank you for streaming <3."

Carpenter's new album, Short n' Sweet, will be released later this month on 23 August.

The success follows her legion of fans speaking out about the prices of her upcoming tour tickets.

The Short 'n Sweet tour kicks off in March next year, but the prices attracted criticism when fans shared that some reportedly reached almost £240.

One user said on X: " "My sister just told me she’s spent £120 on Sabrina Carpenter tickets… I am looking for a normal world."

A second penned: "Sorry but why are Sabrina Carpenter tickets costing £230 for nosebleeds, it’s a crime."

Someone else commented: "Pls those Sabrina Carpenter tickets have just cost me an arm and a leg."

We're sure it'll be worth every penny - but it might be worth looking into a safer stage design.

Tyla has reached out to representatives for Sabrina Carpenter and Outside Lands for comment.
