Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have made their first public appearance together after their engagement post and one detail has everyone saying the exact same thing.

The soon-to-be newlyweds took to Instagram on Tuesday (26 August) to share five adorable snaps following the proposal in a joint post that has since broken the internet, garnering a whopping 34.2 million likes at the time of writing.

"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," Taylor and Travis captioned the post, along with a dynamite emoji.

Swifties across the globe have since been buzzing to see the pair out and about following the exciting announcement and that's come sooner than expected as they were spotted at the college football match-up between the Cincinnati Bearcats and the Nebraska Cornhuskers at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Thursday (28 August).

Travis used to play for the Bearcats during his college career at the University of Cincinnati.

Taylor could be seen cosied up in a light-wash pleated denim mini skirt, a white sweater vest and knee-high off-white boots to pair, while her NFL star fiancé opted for a red and white polo shirt paired with a Bearcats cap.

But what caught the attention of most people online after seeing snaps of the couple in the stands was the blinding shine of Taylor's new bling.

One X user beamed: "The fact that u can see it shine from that far away!"

"Her ring!" gushed a second.

"Need more ring photos stat!" demanded a third.

Another gushed: "Look at that big a** rock shining in the light."

And a final X user beamed: "She’s just a girl who wants to show off her rock!"

One jeweller, Rich Goldberg, described the ring as 'timeless'.

"Based on the limited photos we currently have, the centre diamond looks to be an elongated cushion cut of approximately five to six carats," he told The Independent.

"A diamond shaped like this could also be an ‘old mine’ brilliant cut, which is essentially an antique diamond, with a cushion shape. The setting looks yellow gold and is wider at the top, tapering down with engraving on the sides, possibly with a couple very small inlaid gemstones.

"This gives the ring a vintage look, which is timeless, rather than something trendy. A truly beautiful ring style, perfect for the life of a showgirl."

Meanwhile, jeweller Steven Singer believes the ring could be worth up to $2 million (£1.4 million).

"It looks like 7.5 carats and set in an antique decorative reproduction with engravings and either 14k or 18k gold or rose gold," he explained.

"The price of the ring depends on who sold it and if at retail. Most likely $1.5 to $2 million. For us it would have been $1 million."
