Where Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got engaged has finally been revealed

Despite Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announcing their engagement just two days ago on Tuesday (26 August), it's clear the craze surrounding the it-couple isn't dying down anytime soon.

The Grammy award-winning singer and the Kansas City Chiefs star, both 35, took to Instagram to share a joint post featuring five snaps from the proposal leaving many Swifties curious as to where and when Travis actually popped the big question.

The soon-to-be newlyweds could be seen in a stunning garden filled with lush foliage and pink and white flowers making for the perfect backdrop for the romantic moment - but such a moment actually took place quite some time ago.

Yep, Taylor and her fiancé were able to keep the exciting news under wraps for 'a couple of weeks', according to a source speaking to Page Six.

And as for the location?

Well, Travis got down on one knee at his Leawood estate in Kansas, the outlet confirmed.

Photos of the location where the pair posed for snaps after the proposal appeared in an old listing of Travis' mansion which he purchased back in 2023 amid his blossoming relationship with Taylor.

Now, the caption on the engagement post, which has since broken records, reads: "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married [dynamite emoji]."

While the emoji may not immediately scream romance when you've got an array of heart-shaped, wedding-themed, and all-round cutesy options on offer, fans were delighted after clocking the very cute hidden meaning.

Another name for dynamite is TNT, which could stand for 'Taylor n' Travis' in this case - something which fans rushed to social media to gush over.

"Istg I just figured out why Taylor and Travis used the emoji in their announcement, TNT as in T&T as in their initials as in the bracelet she's been wearing for months as in they’re masterminds and I'm a huge dumb*ss," quipped one X user.

A second chimed in: "No cause the emoji she used. A TNT Taylor and Travis OMG!"

"My dumb*ss just realised the emoji in her caption means TnT... like Taylor and Travis..." mused another.

Tay and Trav's engagement post ranks 15th in the most-liked Instagram posts of all time and seventh in the most-liked Instagram post posted by non-footballers, which makes the 'Love Story' singer the recipient of the most-liked post ever for any woman on the social media platform.
