The Royal Family just quietly deleted Princess Anne’s birthday post after major error sparks conspiracy theory

It was intended as a sweet birthday dedicated to Princess Anne, but the Royal Family have quietly deleted a social media post after fans spotted a whopping blunder.

Princess Anne will be celebrating her 75th birthday on Friday, August 15.

Who doesn't love a social media post from loved ones for their birthday? Well, maybe not Princess Anne, after her birthday rule was revealed, saying she only wants a fuss for birthdays ending in a zero, not a five.

Despite her protestations, it seems her birthday is being celebrated anyway.

The Royal Family curated a list of 75 facts about the princess and it was posted on their social media to celebrate on Wednesday ahead of the big day.

However, it wasn't long before eagle-eyed Royal Family fans spotted something was wrong.

The post was swiftly but quietly deleted after fans noticed something amiss with fact #14 on the list.

It stated: "Her Royal Highness also has two stepchildren from her second marriage to Sir Timothy Laurence, Tom and Amy Laurence."

Princess Anne has two children from her first marriage to Captain Mark Phillips, Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips.

She later remarried, tying the knot to retired Royal Navy officer Sir Tim in December 1992.

It was the first marriage for Laurence, and he is not known to have had any children in previous relationships.

Conspiracy theorists were quick to notice the blunder, and shared their thoughts online.

One wrote on X (formerly Twitter) "#14 Tom and Amy Laurence? Either I’ve gone crazy or Sir Tim Laurence has secret children."

"Pretty sure this is an error, but how did that happen? I can’t think of any Tom & Amy siblings in the extended Royal Family," they added.

Everyone loves a bit of gossip, with this fan writing: "That would be the best hidden royal secret ever."

"This is not true. Sir Tim does not have children from a previous relationship," insisted one fan.

Someone else wondered if it was an artificial intelligence blooper: "That is so odd? Could it be an AI mistake? Someone at BP made that list with ChatGPT but didn’t check it? Otherwise that would be one heck of a plot twist."

One Royal fan account also blamed AI: "I can see the "Tom & Amy Laurence, step-children" as totally being an AI mistake."

"AI would probably look at other lists, like Charles & Camilla's 75th birthday, and would see references to step-children, plus, it is interesting that Tom is the name of Camilla's son. Plus T & A are Tim and Anne's initials," they reasoned.

The post finished: "It would be embarrassing, but given the number of mistakes on their website in recent years not surprising. I wouldn't put it past some lower-level staff being tasked to come up with a list of 75 things and using ChatGPT."

Buckingham Palace declined to comment when contacted by Tyla.
