New details have emerged about Meghan Markle's highly anticipated return to acting.
In 2018, ahead of her marriage to Prince Harry, Meghan hung up her acting shoes, concluding her new royal responsibilities were incompatible with the showbiz world.
At the time, she served as one of the longest-serving stars of the hit legal-drama Suits, having played powerful paralegal Rachel Zane since 2011.
Despite the actress describing her resignation as a 'new chapter', less that three years later, she and Harry would have stepped down from their official duties, citing mistreatment from his family.

Not only did the couple claim to have endured 'bullying' from Harry's brother and sister-in-law, Prince William and Kate Middleton, among others, but racial discrimination regarding their six-year-old son Archie's skin tone at the hands of senior royals.

As a result, they stepped back as working royals, moving from the UK to Montecito, California in 2020, where they welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet, now four.
In the years since, however, the duchess has certainly picked herself up professionally, relaunched her social media profile, recording two entire Netflix lifestyle series titled With Love, Meghan, and setting up her own homeware and grocery brand As Ever.
Apparently, however, there was one further item the mother-of-two sought to tick off her 'comeback' bucket list.
Almost a decade on from her last small-screen appearance, Meghan is said to be returning to the entertainment realm bigger and better than ever, and has spent the last week or so recording a fully-fledged movie.
According to reports, the duchess was spotted on the set of an upcoming Amazon MGM Studios feature film recently, currently being recorded in Pasadena, California.

People claimed earlier this week that the production in question is titled Close Personal Friends.
An insider told The Sun last week that the move signifies a 'massive moment' for Meghan, who is returning 'to doing what she truly loves'.
"It is Meghan’s way of gently putting her toe back in the water and seeing how she enjoys being back on set," they continued. "Everyone involved is super-excited, and have been sworn to secrecy about her involvement."
IMDb added of the plot of her new project, that it features 'two couples - one famous, one not' who 'meet in Santa Barbara and become fast friends'.
Alongside Meghan - who'll reportedly play herself in a 'small part' - the big-name flick will also star the likes of Lily Collins, Brie Larson, Henry Golding and Jack Quaid.
Despite producers not yet having given much away as to the ups and downs of the movie's storyline, inside sources have supposedly spoken to press about Meghan's return to the set after a lengthy stint away.

"She seemed very relaxed and happy," one told the magazine of her first week behind the camera. "She introduced herself to everyone and was very sweet and down-to-earth."
Another source told the same outlet on Monday that the mother-of-two - whose handful of film credits include 2010 drama Remember Me, and 2011 comedy Horrible Bosses - took a minute or two to get back into the swing of things.
"She was joking that she felt a bit rusty," they explained. "But it was obvious that she had rehearsed and that it was a big deal for her to be back.
"And she was great. She had a very warm energy, too."
The source added: "She was super pleasant to be around."
