Ivanka Trump's Secret Service agent sparked debate this week after a video of him pushing a mystery man went viral online.

The daughter of US President Donald Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, were seen leaving Carbone Beach in Florida on Saturday evening (3 May) following an event, when an unidentified man tried to walk next to them.

As the couple headed towards their car holding hands, a man in shorts could be seen walking next to them, holding an envelope.

Their Secret Service agent tries to move him out of the way, but the man appears to shrug him off.

Moments later, the agent vigorously pushes the man to maintain distance between him and Ivanka. Take a look at the moment below:

Following the commotion, onlookers appeared shocked, while Ivanka and Jared were ushered into their SUV.

The Secret Service told DailyMail.com: "During a protective movement on Saturday, May 4, 2025, an adult male encroached, coming too close to Secret Service personnel.

"A special agent immediately intervened, physically redirecting the individual to reestablish a safe perimeter.

"The public is reminded that during protective operations, maintaining a safe distance from law enforcement and protective personnel is essential.

"Adequate space ensures agents can respond swiftly to unexpected actions and helps safeguard everyone in the vicinity."

Secret Service agents are primarily known for protecting the US President, Vice President, their families and other government officials.

People watching the clip - which was shared on the @miamibeachexperience TikTok page - were divided over what happened during the incident.

One wrote: "Yeah dude was way too close to her. Secret service doing their job!"

While another said: "Give him a bonus."

And a third added: "Secret Service don’t play. People need to remember who and what the Secret Service are and do."

And a fourth wrote: "He was pacing them. That’s a huge potential threat. NEVER walk along with them, especially when they’re approaching their vehicle. Isn’t this common sense."

Others thought it was an 'overreaction' with another adding: "Overreaction should be sued they don't own the public street you can walk where you want."

While another said: "I’ve replayed it many times. The guy was walking and the security guard rudely shoved him to the side, the guy reacted and then the security guard pushed him.

"He could’ve hit his head really bad."

And a third added: "There was no need for excessive use of force. this guy needs to be held accountable."
