Tehran has hit back at Donald Trump following an expletive-filled rant, where he claimed they would be 'living in hell' if the Strait of Hormuz isn't reopened.

Iran has now warned they will respond with a 'much more devastating' if Trump goes through with his threats to target civilian infrastructure, and called his rant 'helpless, nervous and stupid', according to the BBC.

The POTUS told Iran to 'open the f****** Strait' or face 'living in hell' in his furious exchange on Sunday.

Writing on Truth Social, he posted: "Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the f****** Strait, you crazy b*******, or you'll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP"

The President said Tehran had to ‘make a deal or open the strait’ and appeared to issue a follow up deadline in another post, writing: "Tuesday, 8pm Eastern Time!"

Iran issued a statement in reply, saying 'if attacks on civilian targets are repeated, the next stages of our offensive and retaliatory operations will be much more devastating and widespread'.

Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that 'the only real solution is respecting the rights of the Iranian people and ending this dangerous game'.

The Independent reports he told Trump: “Your reckless moves are dragging the United States into a living HELL for every single family, and our whole region is going to burn because you insist on following Netanyahu’s commands. Make no mistake: You won’t gain anything through war crimes."

Back on March 21, Trump threatened to 'obliterate' power plants in Iran if the Strait of Hormuz was not 'FULLY OPEN' within 48 hours.

Oil prices continue to rise due to the conflict, with fears of a jet fuel shortage hitting the UK.

However, the chief executive of one airline told the BBC that there are no worries for at least 'four to six weeks'.

Nico Bezuidenhout is the boss of Aurigny Airline in Guernsey, and told the outlet he had received 'assurances from multiple suppliers and airports' that there are short-term fuel supplies available.

that there was short-term fuel supplies in both Guernsey and the UK.

He did admit, however, that the airline is now spending 120% more on fuel than it was before the Iran War.

The airline introduced a temporary £2 fuel surcharge on new bookings, telling customers they were 'not immune from the realities presented by the global travel ecosystem'.

They were also forced to reduce the number of flights due to the costs, telling BBC Radio 4 last week: "Oil pricing and jet fuel pricing has had a material effect on cost structures, so we took the proactive step of reducing approximately 12% of our flight capacity."

Trump had previously hit out at the likes of Keir Starmer, telling him to 'go get his own oil' as the difficulties in Hormuz continue.

On Truth Social he wrote: "All of those countries that can’t get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz, like the United Kingdom, which refused to get involved in the decapitation of Iran, I have a suggestion for you."

"Number 1, buy from the U.S., we have plenty, and Number 2, build up some delayed courage, go to the Strait, and just TAKE IT.‘

The president continued: "You’ll have to start learning how to fight for yourself, the U.S.A. won’t be there to help you anymore, just like you weren’t there for us"

"Iran has been, essentially, decimated. The hard part is done, go get your own oil!" he demanded.
