The US President has denounced a number of former MAGA supporters who have publicly condemned his decision to launch devastating missile strikes on Iran last weekend.
Joined with Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu, Donald Trump fired dozens of drones at Tehran, the country's capital, on Saturday (28 February).
The 79-year-old later claimed the attacks had served as America's response to Iran's increasingly totalitarian regime against its own citizens, as well as to ensure 'that Iran does not obtain a nuclear weapon'.
The nation's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was amongst the most senior leaders of the Islamic Republic killed in the attack.

Responding, new Iranian politicians fired weapons of their own in the direction of US-Israeli troops based across Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan.

As tensions continue to rise in the Middle East as a result of Trump's attack, leaders of several other nations have raised concerns regarding the possibility of becoming roped into a cataclysmic global crisis.
As we say, however, several of Trump's biggest cheerleaders have also seemingly turned their backs on the Republican frontman in light of the assault.
Which MAGA supporters have criticised Trump's assault on Iran?
Tucker Carlson, a former Fox News host, reportedly slammed the airstrikes as 'absolutely evil and disgusting', as quoted by ABC White House correspondent Jonathan Karl.
Carlson is also said to have described Trump's war as being 'waged purely because Israel wanted it to be waged'.
During Monday's (2 Mar) instalment of her right-wing podcast, Megyn Kelly also spoke out against the President's latest attack, pointing out that it also cost a number of American lives.

"I don’t think those service members died for the United States," she hit out. "I think they died for Iran or for Israel.
"No one is crying that the Ayatollah is dead, but our government's job is not to look out for Iran or Israel. It’s to look out for us."
Kelly's comments seem to allude to Iranian sources (as cited by the Palestinian Chronicle) alleging that approximately 560 US military personnel were killed or injured over the weekend.
As a reminder, Trump had previously insisted that just three American service members had been killed, and that five were seriously wounded.
Another of the President's biggest political supporters, Marjorie Taylor Greene, also attacked Trump's decision to kick-start what many news consumers fear will develop into WW3.
The former Georgia congresswoman hit out on X: "Whatever Trump’s new twisted perversion of MAGA is, is going to LOSE in the midterms. People do not want to vote for this s--t show and didn’t turn out in Texas.

"Maybe they will wake up now and realise Armageddon is not what we voted for."
How has Trump responded to the criticism?
The President has since subtly responded to the backlash he's faced from some of his former advocates.
Taking to Truth Social last night (4 Mar), Trump shared an article written by Amanda Head for the right-leaning publication, Just The News.
In the piece, Head called out several ex-MAGA supporters for turning their backs on their leader, whilst praising his supposedly 'America First' regime.
The journalist wrote: "Former MAGA firebrands who once wielded clout among President Donald Trump’s base were watching their influence evaporate in Republican primaries Tuesday amid infighting, backlash, and shifting loyalties.
"Trump’s success did not transpire without efforts by his detractors to prevent it, however. Multiple social media influencers who once backed the 47th president have now turned away from that support and have become ardent critics. But their attempts overwhelmingly failed."

Head also attempted to point out that, despite the criticism voiced by some Republicans, several political candidates that Trump endorses recently won their respective local election races. It's worth noting, however, that in many of these cases, these right-wing victors were expected to win, or had run for election unopposed.
Trump reposting Head's heavily supportive article has, therefore, been seen as his official response to criticism from his former comrades.
