Elon Musk just made a very unusual outfit choice and the reason behind it couldn’t be more obvious

Elon Musk made an interesting outfit choice during President Donald Trump's speech to Congress on Tuesday - and people certainly took note.

Trump delivered the 90-minute address in a joint session, discussing everything he had achieved so far in office and what his plans are moving forward.

He also spoke about DOGE - with a special mention to Musk - trade tariffs and the situation in Ukraine.

During the speech, Musk could be seen sitting in the gallery, wearing something he doesn't always opt for.

While Musk often goes for a more casual style - for example, he wore a cap during a press conference in the Oval Office - on Tuesday, he decided to wear a suit.

And people had a lot of thoughts about the outfit choice.

One person wrote on X: "Add this to Trump‘s accomplishments: he got Elon Musk out of a T-shirt and into a suit and tie what’s next?"

While another said: "Look what it takes to get Musk in his first suit"

And a third added: "ELON MUSK IS wearing a suit at TRUMP'S speech."

"Musk got the memo to wear a suit this time," said a fourth.

Others said the decision could be linked to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Following Zelenskyy and Trump's high profile fallout in the Oval Office last week, many people commented on the Ukrainian president's outfit choice.

Joined by Vice President JD Vance, Trump and Zelenskyy got into an argument during a heated meeting in the Oval Office on Friday, 28 February.

The world leaders were meeting to discuss a potential minerals deal between the two nations, as well as Russia's invasion of Ukraine, which started over three years ago.

During the meeting, relations became incredibly tense, with Trump telling Zelenskyy he's 'gambling with WW3'.

After the disastrous meeting went viral, Zelenskyy was criticised for not wearing a suit during his meeting with Trump and Vance.

As Trump welcomed Zelenskyy, he said: "He is all dressed up today."

When asked by correspondent Brian Glenn why he wasn't wearing a suit, Zelenskyy said: "I will wear a costume when this war is finished.

"Maybe something like yours. Maybe something better. Maybe something cheaper."

Commenting on the potential link between Musk's suit and Zelenskyy's outfit in the Oval Office, one person wrote on X: "After the insults to Zelenskyy, Musk finally wears a suit."

While another said: "Musk is wearing a suit after everyone compared him to Zelenskyy."

And a third added: "Elon Musk heard the criticism about Zelenskyy not wearing a suit!"

Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "I did notice that Musk wore a suit last night while Trump addressed Congress, thank Zelenskyy for that."

Meanwhile, Truthplane's Mark Bowden analysed Musk's body language for Sportsbook Review. He told Tyla: "Elon Musk notably arrived in a suit and tie, a departure from his usual Oval Office attire of a T-shirt, MAGA cap, and overcoat – likely to avoid the criticism that had previously been directed at Zelenskyy for not wearing a suit, which was seen as an act of disrespect toward Trump and America."
