Donald Trump’s granddaughter Kai has sparked quite the reaction online after vlogging in the White House's Oval Office.
The vlog in question was posted last week (25 October) to Kai's 1.32 million subscribers on YouTube. The video is titled 'I Went to the Ryder Cup With My Grandpa (POTUS)'.
"I had the best time going to the Ryder Cup with my grandpa - come along for the behind-the-scenes of this special trip!" the 18-year-old wrote in the video's description.
At one point during the 28-minute vlog, which has since racked up over 773k views, Kai - who is the daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa Trump, making her the eldest grandchild of the United States President - can be seen sitting on a sofa in the Oval Office telling the camera: "So, grandpa is still in meetings. I'm just chilling in the Oval Office scrolling on TikTok.

"That's what I'm doing."
"I'm supposed to be studying [...] but I have not been doing that. So I'm kind of just procrastinating," the teenager went on.
"I promise you I will study," Kai added before resolving: "But yeah, this is kinda cool."

She finished up the clip, concluding: "There's no better place to scroll on TikTok than the Oval Office."
She then panned the camera to the gold-covered room and struck a pose.

People rushed to the comments to share their thoughts on the matter, with one TikTok user writing: "The concept of someone doomscrolling in the Oval Office is crazy."

A second penned: "And it doesn’t even look like Trump's in there either, not at the desk at least, she’s just chilling."
"Scrolling on TikTok in Trump's room," a third chimed in, while another echoed: "Casually chillin in the Oval Office of America."
And a final TikTok user slammed: "Is the Oval Office now designated for these purposes...? Are you going to turn it into a circus soon? The USA has become a joke!"
This is far from the first time Kai's online presence has sparked a discussion online.
In the past, she's had to deal with some creepy social media comments and been accused of nepotism in her golfing career.

Kai recently took to TikTok to share a short clip of her taking a customer's order at a Dunkin' Donuts drive-thru.
And, earlier this year in June, she received mixed reactions after a video of her working at a Dunkin' Donuts went viral online.
Some were supportive of Kai's video, with one TikTok user writing: "Kai is living the dream she's working because she wants to not because she has to."
"Great work ethic," gushed a second, while a third chimed in: "It’s nice to work now to earn your own money even though she is the president’s granddaughter."

Many others, however, weren't so swooned by the situation, with one critic highlighting: "Hopefully Kai doesn't think same as her grandfather."
"We just want healthcare," pleaded a second.
A third hit out: "Rich people cosplaying the working class."
"Roleplaying as working class," echoed a fourth, while another chirped: "First and last day of work."
And a final TikTok user added: "Must be nice to be rich."
