Yesterday marked the 18th birthday of Donald Trump's granddaughter Kai. Sadly, however, the special occasion may have been somewhat tainted after the teen was inundated with unnerving remarks online.
For those unfamiliar with Kai, aside from having a high-profile political grandad, she's also created quite the name for herself in social media circuits, having launched her own YouTube channel some years ago.
The internet star - the daughter of the president's eldest son Donald Jr and his ex-wife Vanessa - has garnered a huge base of online fans by sharing make-up content, daily life vlogs and 'behind the scenes of the inauguration'-style videos.

Interestingly, however, despite being the granddaughter of one of the most powerful men on the planet, the teenager isn't known for her hotly-debated Republican beliefs, and is often praised for presenting the life of an ordinary high-schooler.
"Kai is so unaffected by her family being famous and important. I adore her," one gushed in the comments of one of her most recent clips.
Another added: "Kai and friends are so down to earth. I just like seeing her being a real teenager and act like it. "You are a natural, the mess in the room, says it all."
As we say, however, the youngster's online fame has seemingly reached unwanted audiences this week, with a pack of adult men taking to her TikTok comments to share their thoughts on her 18th birthday.
In a clip captioned, 'Last day of being 17', Kai could be seen sharing a glimpse at the outfit she plans to wear for her big day as she posed beside two teenage friends.
Frustratingly, however, it didn't take long for one viewer to pen in the comments, 'Now you're legal', seemingly referring to 18 being the legal age that an individual can have sex in the United States.
"Almost legal, be careful out there!!" another added.
Thankfully for Kai, however, hundreds of her loyal followers subsequently rushed to the same comment section to call out the creeps.
"You felt okay posting this???" one asked the controversial commenter.
Another informed them: "everyone in this Comment Section ist getting arrested by CIA or FBI lol."
"Now you are a creep," slammed a third.
Another pointed out: "Need a Ref for some of these comments."
