Donald Trump’s granddaughter Kai sparks divide after video of her working at fast food chain goes viral

Donald Trump’s granddaughter Kai has received mixed reactions after a video of her working at a Dunkin' Donuts went viral online.

Kai is the eldest child of Trump's son Donald Trump Jr and his ex-wife Vanessa, whom he divorced in 2018

They are also parents to Donald Trump III, 16, Tristan, 13, Spencer, 12, and Chloe, 11.

Kai has 1.16 million YouTube subscribers and three million TikTok followers, and has previously been praised for being 'down to Earth' and 'unaffected'.

However, she has also had to deal with some creepy social media comments, and been accused of nepotism in her golfing career.

Kai took to TikTok earlier this week to share a short clip of her taking a customer's order at a Dunkin' Donuts drive-thru.

In the clip, the 18-year-old could be seen donning the company’s colours with a bright pink tank top, orange tennis skirt, and white trainers while working the window.

She could be heard repeating that a customer wanted a 'medium iced coffee' and saying, 'perfect', before getting help from a colleague with the register.

She then delivered the iced beverage to the customer in question.

"Working the drive-thru at Dunkin' Donuts," the overlay text read in the nine-second video.

Kai also captioned the clip: "If it’s on the Dunkin’ menu, I tried it!" before directing her 3.1 million followers to her YouTube channel to watch the 'full video' of her taking a stab at the hospitality role.

Some were supportive of Kai's video with one TikTok user writing: "Kai is living the dream she's working because she wants to not because she has to."

"Great work ethic," gushed a second, while a third chimed in: "It’s nice to work now to earn your own money even though she is the president’s granddaughter."

A fourth penned: "So humble!"

"She seems so sweet and down to Earth," quipped another fan.

Many others, however, weren't so swooned by the situation with one critic highlighting: "Hopefully Kai doesn't think same as her grandfather."

"We just want healthcare," pleaded a second.

A third hit out: "Rich people cosplaying the working class."

"Roleplaying as working class," echoed a fourth, while another chirped: "First and last day of work."

And a final TikTok user added: "Must be nice to be rich."

A few months back, Kai's mum Vanessa went Instagram official with her new boyfriend Tiger Woods.

The pair confirmed rumours of their romance in spring (23 March) when the 49-year-old professional golfer shared a series of snaps cosied up with Vanessa, 47, in the sunshine.

Kai liked the post, seemingly confirming her support for her mum's new romance.
