Donald Trump shares nickname for 20-year-old son Barron

A new book has seemingly revealed the unexpected nickname Donald Trump has for his youngest son, Barron.

The 20-year-old is the only offspring that the US President, 80, shares with his current wife, First Lady Melania Trump, 56.

The Republican leader has five children from three marriages - Donald Trump Jr., 48, Ivanka, 44, and Eric, 42, with his first wife, Ivana, Tiffany, 32, with Maria Maples, and finally Barron, who was born in 2006.

Barron has found himself in the spotlight more recently, especially after attending the UFC Freedom 250 event earlier this month with his parents.

And now, a new book has claimed to unearth the warm nickname that Trump has for his youngest.

As reported by SheKnows, Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump by Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan, says that the US President calls the 20-year-old ‘Honey’.

According to the book, Barron called his dad right after the news of Charlie Kirk’s assassination broke last September.

Trump apparently reassured him by saying, “Calm down, honey, calm down.”

The publication also reports that when growing up, the US President would call Barron ‘little boy,’ while Melania would refer to him as ‘little Donald’.

Last month, the world leader mentioned his youngest son during an East Room ceremony to recognise military mothers and their families.

Speaking of Melania, he said, “Most importantly, and most importantly to her, she's done an incredible job as First Lady. She's an incredible mom."

Then, turning his attention to Barron, he added, “She has a little boy who's quite tall. He's a little boy to us, but he's quite tall, right?"

For context, Barron is quite tall with his 6'2" height.

Trump continued: "And his great parent. She takes great care of him, thank you."

And during Barron’s latest appearance at the UFC White House event, social media users couldn’t get over how much he’s beginning to resemble his dad.

One X user penned: “Barron is looking more presidential by the day,” while a second agreed: “He is turning into his father.”

A third person wrote: “He is his father's son,” while a fourth added: “Ain’t no way that’s Barron Trump.

Shocked, others agreed: “Looking presidential already! Barron 2044-2052 incoming” and “Barron looks like a carbon copy of his father when he was the same age.”

“His face has changed in the last year. He’s STILL growing!! And those eyebrows!!” added someone else, while another X user agreed, “Man, he looks like his dad all of a sudden.”
