Every family has their fair share of drama - and it looks like the Trumps are no different.

A source claims to have lifted the lid on a disagreement behind the scenes between the US First Lady Melania Trump, and her son-in-law, Eric Trump.

For those who need a reminder, Melania and US President Donald Trump share one son together, Barron Trump, who was born in 2006 and is now 19-years-old.

Trump also has four other kids from previous relationships - with ex-wife Ivana he had Donald Jr., 47, and Ivanka, 44, and Eric, 41, as well as Tiffany, 32 from his marriage to Marla Maples.

As per Yahoo! Entertainment, sources claim that Melania is reportedly upset after Eric publicly repeated what he claimed Barron had said ] to former President Joe Biden during the inauguration of Trump back in January.

To break it down, Barron went viral earlier this year before Trump's inaugural address back in January, in which Trump spent most of the speech slating Biden, despite the former president sitting just a few feet away.

Barron was spotted speaking with Biden, and now this week, after nearly a year, Eric, spoke out claiming to know what actually went down.

Speaking on The Megyn Kelly Show last week (14 November), Eric said: "Do you remember that whole controversy where [Barron] went up to Biden … and [the media] had all these like lip-reading experts [analyse it], and they’re like, 'Barron just told Biden to go F himself'?

"So one night … I call Barron, I go, 'Buddy, look, what did you actually say?' And he goes, you know, like - it was something so polite I almost wouldn’t even get it right - but [something], like, 'Congratulations and best of luck to you' - or something like that."

Eric said it was 'something very respectful' and that Barron 'doesn’t have that in him'.

He added: "He’s a nice guy. He’s probably thinking it. He definitely has it up here [motioning to his head], but like, he’s too courteous to actually go out there and say it. Barron’s a really nice kid."

Despite Eric's comments being quite positive, sources have reportedly claimed that Melania was left less than impressed with him talking about Barron in the public eye.

As per Stylecaster, a source told Rob Shuter’s Subtack that the First Lady allegedly told Eric to 'shut his mouth' following the comments.

The source reportedly added: "Melania does not want Barron discussed. Ever."

They said Melania was 'deeply uncomfortable' with Eric’s 'trending' comments about his half-brother and 'she protects that boy like a lioness'.

The insider allegedly added: "He’s in college. He wants a quiet life. Headlines and memes are the last thing she wants for him.”

Well, if this is anything to go by, family Christmas at the Trump's is set to be fun!

Tyla has contacted a representative for the White House and Eric Trump for comment.
