Peter Andre Shares His Thoughts On Rebekah Vardy In Emotional Statement

Peter Andre has shared a new video in response to Rebekah Vardy's comments

Peter Andre has shared his thoughts on Rebekah Vardy amid the 'Wagatha Christie' trial in a series of Instagram videos.

The 'Mysterious Girl' singer's video response comes after comments made about him during the trial went viral on Wednesday.

Vardy took to the stand at London’s High Court where she said she regretted describing Andre’s penis as 'miniature chipolata' in a 2004 interview with the News of the World. She said she 'deeply regrets' her words.

During a cross examination by Coleen Rooney’s lawyer David Sherborne, he asked Vardy if she respected people’s privacy, to which she responded: “Yes I do". The lawyer then interrogated her about the interview, which included explicit details about Andre, who took part in I’m a Celebrity the same year.

Andre shared in the caption: "My thoughts on Rebekah V : [Please] swipe to see all three vids [sic]. Here I was this morning sat in my robe feeling like I had to say something. Feel free to come to your own conclusion.

"Just a couple of things first. Sorry to Emily and the children that have had to see and hear some not very nice things. Secondly that ridiculous article yest [sic] (about a certain remote control… ) was written fifteen years ago and republished yesterday. To be fair the media are very kind to me in general.

"Thirdly, you all know I like to take the piss out of myself but Maybe I felt a bit vulnerable this morning. Love from an Aussie Brit Greek."

The 41-year-old also responded to the resurfaced article following the court trial on Wednesday. "Do you know how hard it is to keep biting my lip on situations?" he said on Instagram. "But the way I look at it, most people saw in the jungle how an acorn turned into an oak so I think I’m OK."

He added: "At least she has now admitted it wasn’t true. And was forced to say it.”

The 'Wagatha Christie' High Court case began on Tuesday and is expected to last for seven days.

After publicly claiming Vardy had shared three fake stories she had posted on her personal Instagram account with The Sun newspaper, Rooney is now being sued by Vardy for libel.
