A teenager accused of killing her parents in the family home while they slept is said to have posted a series of chilling videos about them to TikTok before being charged with their murder.

Sarah Patrick, a 17-year-old from Georgia, US, is accused of murdering her mother, Kristen Brock, 41, and her 45-year-old stepdad, James Brock.

It’s understood that the incident took place at their home in Tyus, 55 miles west of Atlanta, on February 20, as per Law & Crime.

Authorities are said to have received an emergency call from Patrick on the night of her family’s deaths, with the schoolgirl claiming her six-year-old sister was the one who found the bodies with multiple gunshot wounds.

"Smallest daughter found them and then she came and told Sarah, and Sarah made the 911 call," according to Ashley Hulsey, a spokesperson for the Carroll County Sheriff's Office.

Days later, on March 1, Patrick allegedly took to TikTok to explain her ‘feelings’ regarding the deaths of Kristen and James.

“They don't know it but a year from now me and my 5-year-old sister would find them wrongfully shot dead in our home and won't get to watch me graduate high school, see me walk down the aisle, and couldn't even say goodbye,” she reportedly wrote in overlay text.

In another post, the accused killer typed: “If you asked me about my mom and step dad, I’d say I miss them so much. But if you were to ask me on a deeper level, I’d tell you that I just wanna go home.”

The New York Times reported that in a third video, the teenage wrote that she missed her slain relatives ‘so much’ whilst describing her life as a ‘horror movie that never ends’.

This piece of content was allegedly captioned ‘Should prob delete later’, as per the outlet.

Law & Crime stated that the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office were aware of the TikTok account belonging to Patrick, and that it has now been taken down.

On Tuesday (July 8), Patrick reportedly turned herself into the Caroll County jail.

She now faces two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated assault, with investigators still working to discover a motive.

A judge denied the teen bail, though it wasn't immediately clear if she had hired or been assigned a criminal defence lawyer, NBC News reported.

"From the very moment the 911 call was received, a relentless investigation began, one that would span months, consume thousands of hours, and require the full weight of local and federal law enforcement partnerships,” the county stated. “While the case has not remained in the public spotlight in recent months, this investigation has never gone silent.”

The county added that bringing forth the truth ‘responsibly and thoroughly is [their] highest obligation’.

“We are proud of the unwavering commitment shown by every member of this agency, and we stand behind the process that has led us to this arrest.”

If convicted, Patrick faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.
