Aldi Launches New Kevin The Carrot Toy Range

Aldi Launches New Kevin The Carrot Toy Range

But you’ll have to move quickly to get one...

After Aldi released their hugely emotional Christmas television advert earlier this month, all we've wanted is our very own Kevin the Carrot.

And, it appears we're in luck, with the supermarket giant revealing they are selling a range of carrot-shaped plushies to tie in with their tear-jerking festive commercial.

Customers can now get their hands on the advert's major players, including: Wingman Turkey, Harry the Hedgehog, Grate Grandma, Grate Grandpa and a special edition Pilot Kev toy.

The toys are a bargain at £3.99, or you can grab a bundle, worth £19.95.

However, stock is expected to move extremely quickly when the plushies go on sale on Sunday 15th November - so quickly, in fact, that Aldi has introduced a "Glastonbury-style" queuing system to help them cope with the demand.

The retailer, which also offers same-day delivery, has sought the help of online queuing technology websites to allow fairer distribution of the must-have toys.

Those who want their very own Kev the Carrot will have to move quickly - as part of Aldi's Special Buy range, numbers of the plushies are limited.

If you're desperate to have Kevin and crew join your household (or you want to make an early start on your Christmas shopping), you can even order the toys on Deliveroo.

As well as the new plushies, the range also sees the return of Kevin and Katie the Carrot (£3.99 each) and a family of Chantenay, Jasper and Baby (£3.99 for the set).

If you're a particularly big fan of Kevin, you can order a super-sized Kevin the Carrot for £19.99.

The new advert follows Kevin and Turkey making their way back home for Christmas Day.

When he's blasted through the sky on a rocket only for it to malfunction, we then see Kevin as an action adventure hero, fighting the odds to get back to his family, and even befriending a hedgehog and none other than Santa to help him defeat the elements.
