A woman who has been dubbed the 'Japanese Baba Vanga' has one particularly chilling prediction which is apparently set to happen in less than five years' time.
Now, the likes of Baba Vanga, real name Vangelia Pandeva Gushterova, was a Bulgarian woman who was blind since childhood and predicted world events throughout history.
Despite the fact she passed away nearly three decades ago back in 1996, the famous mystic made sure to predict a range of world-changing events, even up to the present day and beyond. A number of those events she actually shares with Ryo Tatsuki, a Japanese woman who has become famous for predicting the future and has previously issued a very harrowing warning for what will unfold in July of this year.

Now, the OG Baba Vanga has fascinatingly predicted events for every year up until 5079, and has been right so many times that she’s gained notoriety for her scarily accurate premonitions, even from beyond the grave.
And it would appear that her predictions have been given even more 'credibility' following Tatsuki's similar ones, namely regarding global natural disasters and world health crises.
In her 1999 book, titled The Future as I See It, Tatsuki accurately predicted the arrival of an 'unknown virus in 2020 and warned of its 'return in 2030' with even 'greater devastation.'

"An unknown virus will come in 2020, will disappear after peaking in April, and appear again 10 years later," she wrote.
In the alleged prophecy, Tatsuki further warned that the return would be deadlier and more widespread, with 'greater devastation and loss of life.'

Many now believe this was a reference to the devastating events of COVID-19 which saw mass lockdowns, overflowing hospitals and major economic meltdowns with many members of the public still seeing the effects to this day.

The decades-old claim is now back in conversation as active COVID-19 cases climb across India.
According to the Economic Times, major states including Kerala, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, among others, have reported a 'sharp increase' in cases.
The outlet adds that, due this increase in cases, health authorities are now keeping a close watch and have issued guidelines to hospitals and the public to stay alert.
"As of now, India has more than 1,000 active COVID-19 cases," it states. "Health officials are not panicking but are urging people to be cautious, follow safety guidelines, and stay informed."

With that said, however, it's important to note that such claims spouted by these alleged mystics are not grounded in science so it's definitely one to take with a heavy pinch of salt.
