Everything Baba Vanga has accurately predicted after eerie 2026 visions revealed

The Bulgarian mystic issued some eerie forecasts for 2026

It's that time of year again - with 2026 on the horizon, the internet has delved into predictions from their favourite mystics.

Both Baba Vanga and Nostradamus issued some pretty worrying prophecies that have been linked to next year, ranging from contact with an unknown civilisation to World War III.

For those not familiar with the duo, Baba Vanga was a Bulgarian mystic who's known for her cryptic predictions of the future, while Nostradamus laid out his own prophecies in the form of poems.

Although Baba Vanga died in 1996, her predictions have lived on and she has since become a prominent figure among believers and theorists.

As we say, she's left behind many forecasts, some of which have actually come true.

For 2026, the mystic has looked into the future and predicted the likes of colossal earthquakes, catastrophic volcanic eruptions, ever-growing conflict, a U-turn on AI, financial woes, and even synthetic organs.

So, with her prophecies in the spotlight again, let's take a look back at everything the renowned seer has ever got right.

Droughts and floods in 2022

Baba Vanga reportedly predicted that 2022 would be a particularly bad year for floods and droughts around the world.

For those who need a reminder, a number of countries, including the UK, experienced especially dry months, with the government officially declaring that parts of the country moved into drought status on 12 August 2022.

Similar worrying weather conditions were recorded throughout Europe.

For the same year, the Bulgarian mystic apparently believed that Australia and Asia would be rocked by floods, a prediction that turned out to be true in both continents.

9/11

One of the most shocking predictions that Baba Vanga is said to have got right was the terror attack on the World Trade Center in New York City, which took place on 11 September 2001.

Over a decade before, in 1989, she reportedly said: "Horror, horror! The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing."

As you can work out, it is thought that the 'American brethren' refers to the Twin Towers, while the 'steel birds' may be the hijacked planes.

Some people have also pointed out the eerily accurate use of the word 'bush', which could be a possible reference to then-US president, George W Bush.

The rise of Donald Trump and Barack Obama

Now, Baba Vanga also had some scarily accurate prophecies relating to politics, including the rise of both US President Donald Trump and former President Barack Obama.

It's believed she guessed that a Black man would become the 44th president of the United States and she also predicted Trump as Obama’s successor.

In an undated statement, Baba Vanga reportedly said: "Everyone will put their hopes in him [Trump?] to end it, but the opposite will happen. He will bring the country down and conflicts between north and south states will escalate."

Gandhi's assassination

Another creepily accurate prophecy from the Bulgarian mystic was that the Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi, would die in 'smoke and fire'.

Gandhi was assassinated by two of her Sikh bodyguards on 31 October 1984, in what was believed to be an act of revenge for ordering a military attack on the Golden Temple, a Sikh holy site.

And it's said that the seer didn't only predict her death - she even knew what she would wear the day she died.

Baba Vanga allegedly said: "The dress will destroy her. I see an orange-yellow dress in the smoke and fire."

On the day of her tragic death, Gandhi was wearing a saffron-hued saree.

The Kursk disaster

It seems that Baba Vanga had a knack for predicting disasters rather than anything positive, as it's reported that she also foresaw the Kursk disaster in August 2000.

For those unfamiliar with the tragedy, a Russian nuclear submarine, called Kursk, sank in the Barents Sea, with all 118 crew members on board losing their lives.

According to Sky History, in 1980, she apparently predicted that in August 1999, Kursk would be 'covered with water and the whole world will weep over it'.

While Baba Vanga was referring to the Russian city of Kursk, not the submarine, and was also one year out, the coincidence is unexplainable.

Her own death

Finally, according to reports, Baba Vanga even got the date right for her own death.

Sky History reported that in a 1990 interview, the mystic said 11 August 1996, would be the date she dies, which as we know, was indeed the case.

Baba Vanga passed away from breast cancer at the age of 84 and her funeral attracted vast crowds from around the world who came to pay their respects.
