American influencer Kiara Brokenbrough's husband has provided an update after she tragically died during childbirth.
The 32-year-old's family announced her passing earlier this month, revealing that Kiara had died on 30 March following complications while giving birth to her son, Jonah, who'd been born prematurely.
An obituary shared by her mother read: "Kiara’s last assignment was the gift of her greatest creation, Jonah, a son for her beloved husband. Jonah, like his parents, is a fighter. He is inspiring his family members and NICU hospital staff with his remarkable improvement."

Kiara's husband, Joel, also discussed her death on social media on 13 April.

"My beautiful, God-fearing, worshipping wife has gone home to be in the presence of the Lord," he wrote on Instagram.
Kiara's cause of death hasn't yet been released by West Virginia's Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
Taking to Facebook in the days following his wife's passing, Joel shared a tribute to his son, who'd reportedly been due to arrive in June.
"Jonah, you are truly blessed, and there is great purpose and authority within your bloodline," he began. "God, in His perfect timing, will guide how your life is used for His glory. I believe you will accomplish even greater things than I have, and I will be with you every step of the way.
"I have been entrusted by God with the responsibility to raise you, to teach you His word, and to prepare you to carry forward and fulfill your calling. I have made a covenant with the Lord and with your mother to ensure that you continue the legacy we have begun, honoring God in all that we do."
Joel went on to vow: "No one will come between us or interfere with the bond we share or the purpose placed on our lives. Wherever God leads us, we will follow.

"Whatever He calls us to speak, we will speak with conviction and faith. Prepare yourself, son. There is meaningful work ahead of us.
"With love, Dad."
Joel's emotional statement was released days after his own mother, Shaneka Greene, set up a GoFundMe page aimed at raising funds for the family while they grieve Kiara.
Shaneka wrote that Jonah had been 'proving to be a true warrior', and thriving more 'each day'. She added that the family had already observed glimpses of his 'beautiful personality'.
She wrote of her own son: "While Joel misses Kiara terribly, he is transforming his pain into a quiet, fierce strength. His bond with Jonah is a miracle to witness, and he is at the hospital constantly, ensuring Jonah has everything he needs to continue his journey.

"Because of your gifts, Joel can focus entirely on Jonah and their new life together without the heavy burden of financial hardship."
Shaneka added: "You have given them more than just a donation; you have given them the space to heal and the resources Jonah needs to grow."
Content creator Kiara first went viral in 2022 for her budget-friendly wedding, before which she paid just $47 (£34.68) for a dress. Kiara said 'I do' to her husband in February that year, in a Californian ceremony that totalled just $500.
During an appearance on Good Morning America two months later, she revealed: "Our goal was to just be as minimal as possible, and to spend the least amount of money as possible."
