It might still be summer, but beauty fans already have Christmas on the brain.
So many of our favourite beauty brands from Lookfantastic and Space NK to Fortnum & Mason and Harrods have launched waitlists for their hugely popular beauty advent calendars, giving shoppers the chance to be first in line when one of the most sought-after beauty buys of the year finally lands.
It feels like news of these launches gets earlier and earlier each year, but we’re definitely not complaining.
Christmas in August, anyone?
Advert
Beauty advent calendars are big business, thanks to their impressive line-up of products with everything from skincare and makeup to fragrance and haircare.
You also get huge savings against buying each product individually, which is why they have a tendency to sell out long before December rolls around.
2026’s beauty advent calendars are shaping up to be its biggest yet
Liberty was one of the first to announce news of their advent calendar for this year in July.
Now we’re in August, it feels like every other major beauty brand is following suit.
We'll be updating this page as more brands reveal their festive offerings, but for now, here's every beauty advent calendar waitlist you can join right now.
Lookfantastic Beauty Advent Calendar 2026
Lookfantastic's beauty advent calendar has become another firm favourite with shoppers over the years, regularly selling out thanks to its mix of premium beauty brands and excellent value.
While the retailer hasn't revealed what's inside the 2026 edition just yet, it has already launched its waitlist, meaning subscribers will be among the first to hear when the calendar officially drops.
It's well worth signing up if you're hoping to beat the rush.
Sephora Beauty Advent Calendar 2026
Sephora is also getting ahead of the festive shopping season by opening its waitlist early.
Although the retailer is keeping most details firmly under wraps, it has revealed one exciting clue already. This year's calendar will contain an impressive 41 beauty treats, with 27 of those coming in full size.
That's enough to make the Sephora beauty advent calendar one of the biggest ones we've heard about so far, and we'll be keeping a close eye on further announcements over the coming weeks.
Space NK Beauty Advent Calendar 2026
Space NK has officially opened the waitlist for its 2026 Beauty Advent Calendar, and if last year's launch is anything to go by, you'll want to be quick.
The calendar is worth more than £1,200 but will retail for £275, making it another seriously tempting option for anyone looking to treat themselves this festive season.
While the full list of products hasn't been revealed just yet, one thing we do know is that the packaging is absolutely stunning.
Unlike some beauty advent calendars that take a more understated approach, Space NK has fully embraced the festive spirit with a snowy winter scene featuring pink and blue illustrations of nutcrackers, presents, reindeer and baubles.
It feels unmistakably Christmassy and is one of our favourite designs we've seen so far.

Glossybox Advent Calendar 2026
If you're a fan of all things pink, the Glossybox Advent Calendar deserves a spot on your Christmas wish list.
The calendar contains 26 beauty treats, including an impressive 22 full-sized products, with a total value of more than £645.
While Glossybox is keeping the exact line-up (and the price) under wraps for now, it's safe to say there's plenty to look forward to.
One thing that has been revealed is the packaging.
Dressed entirely in pink and decorated with bow illustrations, it has a fun, feminine feel that's sure to look just as good on your dressing table as it does under the tree.

Holland & Barrett Beauty Advent Calendar
If you're after a beauty advent calendar that won't completely blow your Christmas budget, Holland & Barrett's latest offering looks like one to have on your radar.
Worth an impressive £266 but priced at just £60, it's packed with premium beauty and wellness favourites from bestselling brands, making it a great way to discover your next skincare or self-care obsession for a fraction of the usual cost.
While the full product line-up is still under wraps, the first sneak peeks suggest shoppers can expect treats from much-loved natural beauty brands, including Weleda and Q+A, with plenty more still to be revealed.
The waitlist is already live, so if you want to be among the first to hear when the calendar goes on sale, it's well worth signing up.

As you'd expect from Cult Beauty, the edit focuses on some of the biggest names in skincare, makeup and haircare, while also helping shoppers discover the latest must-haves.

When will beauty advent calendars go on sale for 2026?
While it might feel incredibly early to be thinking about Christmas, beauty advent calendar season now kicks off months before December.
Many of the biggest retailers begin revealing details from July onwards, with launches typically ramping up throughout August and September.
The most popular calendars often open waitlists first, giving shoppers the chance to register their interest before they're available to buy. They then usually go on sale between late August and early October, although exact launch dates vary by retailer.
The best beauty advent calendars have been known to sell out within days (sometimes even hours) so joining a waitlist is often the best way to avoid missing out.
As more retailers begin teasing their festive launches, we'll continue updating this guide with everything you need to know, including release dates, prices, contents and, of course, where to shop them before they inevitably sell out.
Are beauty advent calendars worth it?
If you love trying new beauty products, the answer is usually yes.
Most beauty advent calendars offer products worth hundreds (sometimes more than £1,000) while costing a fraction of that price.
Many also include a generous number of full-sized products, meaning you're often getting far more value than if you bought each item individually.
They're also a great way to discover new brands alongside cult favourites without committing to the full price of every product.
Whether you're stocking up on skincare, refreshing your makeup bag or treating yourself to luxury fragrances, beauty advent calendars can be one of the best-value beauty purchases of the year.
If you're someone who counts down to Christmas with a beauty treat every day, it might feel ridiculously early to be thinking about advent calendars.
Considering how quickly the most popular ones disappear every year, getting your name on a waitlist in summer could end up being the smartest beauty decision you make all year.
