Beauty lovers rejoice, because it’s finally happening - the UK is getting its first bricks and mortar Sephora store.

For the last few months, Brits have been able to shop at the legendary beauty brand’s online store after it acquired online retailer FeelUnique.

FeelUnique's co-founder Aaron Chatterley wrote on LinkedIn at the time of the news: "I now happily leave the company in the incredible hands of Sephora, safe in the knowledge that what we created will now become the go-to destination for beauty in the UK.”

And following the success of the online offering, Sephora is now setting up shop in London with its doors set to open in March. So, you’ve still got plenty of time to save up for your shopping haul.

Better still, the UK is set to be specifically tailored to UK beauty-fans and will be offering exclusive brands across skincare, haircare, makeup and fragrance.

Speaking to Glamour, Sylvie Moreau, the brand's President in Europe and Middle East, said: “It’s Sephora 4.0, tailored to the UK market. We feel makeup is underserved here in the UK, so there will be a focus on makeup as well as skincare.

“We design with Gen-Z in mind as we see them as our future and we believe the influencing ladder has changed upside down over the last few years. This younger generation are extremely knowledgeable and they now influence their mothers and those around them. It's a big voice.”

The store will open in West London's Westfield, White City Shopping Centre, near Shepherd’s Bush - and, according to Glamour, Sephora has plans to expand and will eventually open stores nationwide.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, beauty fans are in for a treat as the store will be spread across 600 square meters and wrapped up in Sephora's well-known black and white stripes.

Inside, you’ll be able to find double-height ceilings and soft, ambient lighting, while there will also be room for services such as makeup, skin care analysis, and a Benefit Brow Bar.

The store is also launching with a whopping 135 brands - some already confirmed to be coming are Makeup By Mario, Gwen Stefani’s GXVE range and Patrick Starr’s One/Size, as well as Tarte Cosmetics, Fenty, Drunk Elephant, and Vegamour. Alongside them are premium brands such as Gucci Makeup, Tom Ford and Dior, and - of course - you’ll also be able to get your hands on Sephora’s own range.
