We may still be in summer heatwave territory, but beauty brands are already looking ahead to Christmas.
The most wonderful time of year starts right now, apparently, as that’s what happens when beauty brands start putting their 2026 advent calendars on waitlists in the summer.
I’m not complaining, though.
If skincare is your favourite part of your beauty routine, there’s plenty to get excited about.
Advert
While beauty advent calendars cover the wider world of makeup, haircare, fragrance and skincare more generally, there are some of us who’d happily wake up every morning in December to new skincare discoveries rather than a new eyeshadow or fragrance.
Yup, this guide is specifically for those who want to know all about the best skincare advent calendars for 2026.
Skincare specific advent calendars
This is for the skincare lovers who enjoy trying a new serum and get excited when a cleaner they've never heard of turns out to be brilliant.
If that's you, I've done the scrolling so you can see which calendars are actually worth keeping an eye on.
I've looked at the price, contents, product sizes, claimed RRP and, most importantly, what kind of skincare lover each calendar is actually suited to.
I've picked out the ones I’d recommend for different budgets and skin concerns, from barrier-friendly options to the calendars worth splashing out on if you're already a fan of a particular brand.
It's still early in the season, so I’m not pretending everything is ready to buy.
Some 2026 calendars are already available, while others are currently taking names for their waitlists ahead of their full reveal.
I'll be updating this guide as more information lands, so if there's one you're hoping to get your hands on, it's worth checking back before December.
How I rated the best skincare advent calendars 2026
I compared each skincare advent calendar on its overall value for money, looking at the price against the value and amount of skincare included.
I also considered the product selection, including the types of products inside and how useful they are as part of a skincare routine.
For multi-brand calendars, I looked at the brands included, too, considering whether the selection offers a good mix of recognisable and interesting names.
Best skincare advent calendars UK
Best overall: Boots Skincare Advent Calendar
Best trending skincare advent calendar: PureSeoul K-Beauty Advent Calendar
Boots Skincare Advent Calendar
We don’t know much about the Boots Skincare Advent Calendar just yet, other than it’s £70 and worth £307.18, but based on the kind of skincare products that Boots sells, you just know it’s going to be a goodie.
Boots is the home for viral beauty so if you’ve seen any kind of skincare pop up on your FYP in the last couple of months, you’re probably going to find it in the calendar.
We also know it’s going to have 24 days of skin so you’ll be opening up treats all the way to Christmas Eve. Boots have also confirmed it’s going to feature Beauty of Joseon and Anua, plus much more.
The calendar is currently at the waitlist stage, but this is one I’d suggest keeping at the top of your wish list if you want to get your hands on the best of beauty.

Dermalogica Advent Calendar 2026
£229
Bringing together 24 products and accessories with a combined value of £546 for just £229, Dermalogica’s skincare advent calendar includes two full-size products, one mid-size treatment, five travel-size essentials, 14 deluxe minis and two Dermalogica accessories.
The full-size products are the Pro-Collagen Banking Serum and Phyto Nature Lifting Eye Cream, while the mid-size product is the Daily Microfoliant.
There's a particularly strong mix here if you're already familiar with Dermalogica, but it also works as a discovery set if you're keen to explore the brand, with 14 out of the 24 products being deluxe minis.
The combination of cleansers, exfoliation, serums, moisturiser and eye care means you're not getting 24 variations of the same type of product, either.
The Body Shop Classic Advent Calendar 2026
The full line up of The Body Shop Advent Calendars hasn’t been released yet, but I got a sneak peek and boy, is it good.
The Classic The Body Shop Advent Calendar is priced at just £65 and contains £146 worth of bodycare, skincare and haircare across 24 days, so you're getting more than twice the price of the box in products.
It's a particularly nostalgic year for The Body Shop, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
For the first time, the Classic Advent Calendar includes products in the much-loved Dewberry scent, including the Dewberry Bath & Shower Gel and a 100ml Dewberry Body Butter.
There are some familiar Body Shop favourites in there, too.
The Camomile Cleansing Balm is one you’ve probably heard about before and is great for helping you take the day off your face, while the Shea Body Butter is designed to intensely moisturise dry skin.
There's also a Vitamin E Sheet Mask and Aloe Sheet Mask for anyone who likes a little extra hydration.

24 Days of Liz Earle Beauty Advent Calendar
£175
Who wants to unwrap another tiny skincare sample when you could have a full-sized cleanser behind your door?
Of the 24 products inside the 24 Days of Liz Earle Beauty Advent Calendar, 16 are full size and two are supersize, which is a pretty impressive ratio for a skincare advent calendar.
It definitely deserves your attention.
The line-up includes plenty of Liz Earle favourites, from the Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser and Cleanse & Glow Transforming Gel Cleanser to the Restore & Glow Instant Radiance Serum, Superskin Advanced Lift & Define Serum and Skin Repair Hydrating Night Cream.
There are also full-size eye creams, a hydrating mask and several moisturisers, so there's plenty to discover beyond the cleansing products Liz Earle is best known for.

PureSeoul K-Beauty Advent Calendar
K-beauty shows no signs of slowing down, and PureSeoul is tapping into the hype with its first-ever K-beauty advent calendar.
It's packed with 28 products worth more than £500 but it costs just £140.
That’s already tempting enough, but add in the fact that 23 out of the 28 products are full sized, you won’t be able to resist.
This isn't just a box of obscure products you've never heard of. The first reveals include some of the viral K-beauty skincare hits that have been making waves, including medicube Pore Pads, Torriden Dive-In Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Serum, Abib Collagen Eye Patch Jericho Rose Jelly, Hanskin Pink Lotus PDRN Hyaluron Glow Plumping Cream and SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum.
There are 12 new product launches in the calendar, too, so alongside the established favourites there are plenty of chances to discover something before it becomes your next skincare cupboard staple.
The products revealed so far span hydration, treatments, eye care and SPF, with more still to come.
The value is difficult to overlook here.
Is a skincare advent calendar worth it?
A skincare advent calendar can be a great way to discover new brands and products you've been curious about but never quite got round to buying.
It also takes some of the risk out of trying something new, particularly when you're getting multiple products for less than you'd pay for them individually.
Brand-specific skin care advent calendars from names such as Dermalogica and Liz Earle can give you the chance to discover new favourites from a brand you already know and love, while potentially saving money compared with buying the products separately.
The key is to look beyond the RRP and check how many products you'd genuinely use.
A calendar is much better value when its contents actually fit your routine.
When do skincare advent calendars go on sale?
Many UK skincare advent calendars start going on sale any time from now to throughout September into October, although launch dates vary by brand.
You’ll see many have started opening waitlists now so they can judge demands ahead of their official release date in the weeks to come.
I’ll get this article updated as and when new skincare advent calendars launch so you’ll be one of the first to know when something exciting is about to go live.
When do skincare advent calendars sell out?
Some skincare advent calendars can sell out within days, and occasionally on the very day they launch.
Demand for the best skincare advent calendars can be high enough that brands often open waitlists weeks ahead of the actual launch rather than putting them straight on sale.
That's why you'll see so many 2026 skincare advent calendar waitlists already live.
Signing up now means you'll be among the first to be notified when your chosen calendar goes on sale, giving you a better chance of getting it before it disappears.
