I would pay a lot to be transported back to the age when my mum would make me a packed lunch box to take with me on a school trip.

The Babybels, Cheesestrings, Pepperami and perfectly trimmed square sandwiches - absolute heaven.

Don't get me wrong, for the sake of nostalgia, I'd love to recreate one of these lunchboxes again, however, I'm not quite sure how I'd feel if I had to whip out a Disney or Mickey Mouse themed box in front of my colleagues at work.

Liz Stian has gained an impressive following on TikTok and Instagram as a result of her creative, carefully-constructed and extremely cute lunch boxes she makes for her husband.

The 25-year-old showcases her talent through making her own bread, cooking food to perfection, or cutting items of food into perfect little squares and circles to slot into the different sections of the lunch box - she even somehow makes eggs with heart-shaped yolks. Amazing.

She also themes some of her husband's lunches and uses cute cartoon or characterised food items, such as bear bao buns - which I'd almost feel too guilty to eat they're so adorable.

However, while the lunches - which she said take between 20 minutes and an hour to make - far exceed the effort most of us would go to, and are sure to put a smile on her partner's face, not everyone is a fan.

People have taken to Stian's TikTok account in conflicting responses to her designs for her partner's lunches.

Some users absolutely love the boxes, praising Stian for her creativity and care.

One user wrote: "This looks so good I'm obsessed."

"I need to learn how to do this," another said.

A third commented: "It's so lovely to see you cooking such nice meals for your husband."

Not everyone is convinced.

However, others weren't convinced about the designs given they're for Stian's husband and not a child.

A user said: "I thought this was for ur kid."

"Who wants to tell her, he also buys lunch as well? super cute tho!" a second said.

A third wrote: "Can you be my mother?"

"Why do I imagine like her construction husband whipping this lunch box up while the other men are laughing at him," a fourth commented.

And a final resolved: "Why can't your husband cook for himself? He's a grown man and needs to learn how to take care of his own meals."

Some people are just never satisfied.
