If you've been talking about a girls' trip to Amsterdam, now is certainly the time to book.
Eurostar has just launched direct return journeys to the popular city break destination *and* you can snap them up for £35.
A direct outbound route from London St Pancras to Amsterdam already exists, but up until now, passengers have been required to change at Brussels upon their return for custom checks, before boarding a Eurostar back to London.

However, from 30th April, custom checks will take place at Rotterdam, so passengers can stay on the train all the way to London, without the disruption of having to change.
Tickets for the new journey type, which are a mega cheap £35 each way, will go on sale on Tuesday 11th February.
And that's not all.

The change also means the journey time by hours. Currently, the return trip can take up to six and 33 minutes, but it's now expected to take four hours and nine minutes.
Added to that, there will also be a direct Eurostar from Rotterdam to London, from 18th May.
Eurostar chief executive Mike Cooper said: "Our services from the UK to the Netherlands have proved very popular with over half a million travellers since launch.
"Our fully direct service marks an exciting advance for high-speed rail and provides consumers with a comfortable, environmentally friendly alternative to the airlines on one of Europe's busiest leisure and business routes."
The CEO also added that it's a sustainable alternative to flying.

"It's a huge market, 4.3 million air market at the moment. What's interesting is that there's a precise parallel to when we started Paris back in 1994, it was the same size air market, and look what's developed since," he said.
"We think it's going to be a hugely credible alternative to flying and a sustainable alternative to flying as well."
