Woman’s best friend of 20 years admits to sleeping with her husband on his stag do

The wild story was debated on the Australian podcast Everybody Has A Secret.

A distraught woman has sparked conversation after revealing how her friend of two decades committed infidelity with her husband.

On a recent episode of the Everybody Has a Secret podcast, titled ‘Seeking new husband’, co-hosts Annabelle Lee and Louis Hanson heard from someone who had suffered the ultimate betrayal.

“Last week my best friend admitted to me that she had sex with my husband at his Bucks party,” podcast producer Ruby Hall began to read.

“As you might imagine I’m devastated. My husband Tom and I have been married for 18 months and I had absolutely no idea that there were any issues in our relationship.

“Let alone that he was capable of this level of deception.”

The woman continued to explain that she had been out with her friends and her best pal, whom she said was called Maddie, when she found out about her husband’s infidelity.

During the evening, talk turned to how many people each of the women had slept with.

The anonymous person claimed that as she and Maddie were so close, she already knew how many people she'd had sex with.

However, alarm bells began to ring when the woman claimed she’d been intimate with 19 people rather than 18.

“As soon as she said 19 I corrected her. She drunkenly said ‘no, mine is 19’, she clearly realised at that moment her mistake because she tried to pathetically backtrack.” she said.

The woman originally believed Maddie had admitted to cheating on her partner Jack and later told her that she wouldn’t ‘judge her’ for committing infidelity.

“She burst into tears and did not make any sense,” Ruby continued to recount. “She kept saying it was a mistake and I was just so confused.”

During the crying session, the woman finally admitted that she had actually cheated on Jack with her best friend’s husband, Tom.

After hearing the betrayal, the woman said she ‘slapped Maddie in the face’ before leaving the bar.

It was later revealed that the woman had actually asked Maddie to come over to her house on the night that the incident happened.

However, Maddie declined the invitation and ‘evidently lied about being busy at work’.

According to the anonymous podcast listener, her friend has been ‘blowing up’ her phone ever since and begging her for forgiveness.

In a final swoop, the woman revealed that she still hadn’t told her spouse about the incident as he had been away on an international work trip.

“I will be leaving him,” the woman concluded. “I’ve already called our real estate agent to break our lease.

“I am absolutely broken but I would like to let him see that in all its fury.”

A clip of the dilemma was posted to TikTok where users had their say in the comments.

One social media user wrote: “I would tell her partner IMMEDIATELY! He deserves to know the truth.”

A second said: “Invite his parents over and do a slideshow of how amazing your life was and what he ruined.”

“How has no one told Jack?,” questioned another.

A fourth wrote: “Absolutely divorce immediately. Change the locks, contact a lawyer. When he comes back have everything in black bags by the door.”
