Woman shares ‘glitter trap’ to help catch cheating boyfriends

A woman has shared an ingenious way to discover if your partner is being unfaithful

When searching for a healthy relationship, trust is paramount, but sadly, it isn't always easy to maintain.

One woman who has clearly experienced her fair share of cheating partners is Chrissy, a TikToker from the UK.

But the mum-of-two has clearly had enough.

She came up with an ingenious plan to catch any sneaky partners in the act using none other than glitter - and it's caused quite the stir online.

One commenter simply wrote: "You're awesome."

Another added: "Love this."

The viral glitter trick is designed to catch cheaters.

However, some other viewers were a little more skeptical.

One fumed: "How the f*** does that prove anything? Big brain ..."

Another pointed out: "Or ... you could just leave?"

The trick in question involved booby trapping the potential cheater's car.

Using glitter, Chrissy believes she could prove whether another girl had been present in her boyfriend's vehicle.

“If you suspect your boyfriend is cheating on you, try this,” she captioned the TikTok.

She then approached the car and pulled down the mirror above the passenger seat.

Chrissy then hid a sprinkling of pink glitter in the mirror, which would immediately fall out if the mirror was opened.

And because as we all know, glitter is impossible to clean up, the evidence would be clear.

Even if the boyfriend figured out what was going on, he could no longer hide his infidelity.

Her trick will leave glitter in the vehicle of the cheater.

“We all know a girl will look in that mirror at some point,” Chrissy explained.

“Glitter doesn’t lie.”

While it's probably better to be with a partner you trust in the first place, maybe having a solid way to catch them out could help some women escape unfaithful relationships.

Elsewhere, an expert has recently opened up on what it means if you cheat on your partner - in your dreams, that is.

Lauri Loewenberg, a dream analyst and member of the International Association for the Study of Dreams, told Women's Health: “In my research and experience, I have found the main reason you cheat in your dreams is because - deep down - you have guilt or concern about something you’re doing that is taking away from the time you should be putting into the relationship.”

Loewenberg said: “The quality or lack of sex can be part of the dynamic the dream is commenting on.”
