These are the two facial features that cheaters of both sexes are more likely to have - and you might be surprised.

In a new study, Brits who had been cheated on were asked to answer questions about their partner's face with AI technology then recreating the 'typical' disloyal partner.

The study of 2,000 Brits found that men were more likely to cheat, with 35 percent admitting to having already cheated, compared to 24 percent of women.

However, women are more likely to stick with a cheating partner, with more than a fifth choosing to forgive and forget compared to just 13 percent of men who had been the victim of infidelity.

And it seems autumn is the time of year more likely to see both men and women breaking the trust, with cheating up 22 percent in the autumn months.

So what does a cheating partner look like?

Blokes who cheat tended to be bald and have a large nose, along with blue-grey eyes, small lips, a little stubble and some neck hair.

Does he look like a wong'un to you?

Unfaithful women were said to be in their mid-50s, have dark hair, a small nose and a medium-sized pout.

But there's also two facial features that are commonly found on partners of both genders who are disloyal.

Both male and female love rats tend to have a skinny build and 'staring eyes'.

If this sounds like your SO, you've been warned.

Senior Marketing Executive at MrQ Rosie Maskell said: "Between our survey and AI we've shed light on the physical traits associated with those prone to cheating.

"Our research showed that just under half (41%) are familiar with this painful betrayal, so it may be that a lot identify with the characteristics in these images.

"Our research has found that more than half (52%) of Brits have experience of either cheating or being cheated on.

"With 39% of partners who have been wronged calling it quits straight away, it shows that loyalty is a valued quality in our partner.

"Obviously, it's important to note these are based on statistical analysis and won't apply to all individuals.

"People's behaviour is defined by their decisions and actions, not what they look like."

So best not to start accusing your skinny, staring-eyed partner of being disloyal quite yet then.
