A woman has shared her response after being mum-shamed for the food she gives her children.

Mum-of-two Karlee shared a video on her TikTok account (@ourlittlekrew) on Wednesday (9 August) to show her followers what her kids eat during the day and it already has over five million views.

Karlee gave her toddlers, aged three and one, Krispy Kreme doughnuts for breakfast, pizza for lunch and McDonald’s for supper, leaving the internet divided.

She also posted pictures of the plates after her children had finished eating, to show how much they actually devoured.

She captioned the clip: “What I fed my toddlers vs what they actually ate *busy day edition*.”

The children left no crumbs after eating their Krispy Kreme doughnuts as their first meal of the day. They were each given a whole glazed ring doughnut and four mini doughnut doughnut bites each.

For lunch, Karlee served two slices of homemade pizza with some leftover fries however the children ‘barely touched’ their lunch and only ate a couple of chips.

Finally, for dinner, the two children were given half a burger each and fries from McDonalds plus some watermelon. The siblings both ate their portion of watermelon but didn’t seem too interested in the burgers.

While some parents defended Karlee’s choices, lots of social media users criticised and mum-shamed her for giving her children fast food.

“Is this a joke? The amount of donut is insane I can’t figure out if this is a joke,” one outraged commenter wrote.

Another TikTok user wrote: “Glazed donuts for breakfast is wild.”

And a third person said: “Not a single green.”

While another parent confessed: “This makes me feel so much better about what I feed my toddler sometimes.”

A fifth commenter declared: “PLZ GIVE THEM A VEGETABLE.”

Karlee responded to the backlash in the comments, writing: “We do not eat like this always and they usually eat plenty of fruits & veggies! lol.”

Other parents related to Karlee's choice of food, especially on busy and hectic days.

“I love how accurate this is," one mum commented. "Some days are like this, some days are healthier, it's all about balance.”

Another parent chimed in: “Love how realistic this is!!!”

And someone else wrote: “This is so relatable for a lazy day!!!!”
