Man Praised For Saving 'Flustered' Bride In Middle Of The Street

This is why you don't rely on public transport to get you to your wedding!

A man has won widespread praise on TikTok after saving a flustered bride in the middle of the street and getting her to the church, albeit not on time.

It turns out the bride had planned to catch a London taxi to the event, but she was unable to hail one down in her full attire and ended up being 45 minutes late. Watch below:

Luckily for her, she was spotted by Marksteen Adamson, who started filming what he thought would be a 'great shot'.

He wrote: "When I stopped at a pedestrian crossing and saw a bride looking confused and flustered. I started filming as I thought it would be a great shot seeing her cross the road in her full attire."

However, he ended up becoming a part of her big day when she walked towards him and explained that three taxis had cancelled on her and her bridal party.

Thankfully, he had room at the back of his Land Rover for the bide and her friends and was able to lend a hand in her hour of need.

The moment they realised that they'd finally got a lift, they jumped in and the bride said: "I'm late for church.

"Please hurry up."

The group went on to happily chat as they made their way to the church and the hero of the hour was suitably thanked when they arrived.

"Thank you so much. God bless you," the bride replied.

"After I dropped her off I heard the sound of the organ ring out and knew everything was going to be alright. It was a beautiful sunny day," Adamson wrote in the caption.

Unsurprisingly, the video did not go unnoticed on TikTok, and at the time of writing, it has been viewed over half a million times since it was posted yesterday.

"This is literally like a movie scene SO CUTE," wrote one commentator.

"This is why you don’t get an UBER to your wedding," joked a second, while a third wrote: "I feel in the future you'll randomly meet in some way again. Maybe a lift to maternity in a year or so?!"

Meanwhile, a fourth wrote that the bride seemed relatively calm all things considered.

"Good on you. You will be repaid one day," remarked a fifth.

Adamson went to explain that he was invited to the wedding itself as a thank you, but he had to politely decline as his detour meant that he was late for his friends' reunion lunch.
