People are breathing a sigh of relief after watching this bride stop her entire wedding ceremony when she noticed something had gone wrong.

TikTok creator and newlywed Becky Jeffries (@jetsetbecks) left her guests and her groom holding their breath when she asked to pause the proceedings, but she had good reason. Watch the video here:

She captioned the video: "Me in the middle of my wedding ceremony realising I'd made a terrible mistake" - suitably panicking viewers just as much as she panicked attendees on the day.

After learning why Becky put a pause on the ceremony and, more importantly, realising that she didn't want to call off the wedding, viewers were relieved - as was her husband-to-be.

"I just know everyone's hearts skipped a beat when you said that," commented one amused viewer.

"Do you think the grooms heart stopped for a second?!", asked a second.

"He freaked out lmaoo," confirmed a third, while a fourth pointed out: "You can see the groom visibly sighing of relief."

This bride had her wedding guests on the edge of their seats.

Confused over Becky's wardrobe malfunction, some viewers couldn't help but scratch their heads, wondering how no one in her bridal party informed her that she was missing half of her dress.

The bride was happy to take questions, though, telling curious viewers: "I didn’t have bridesmaids!

"When my girls and I arrived at the wedding, our planner hurried them to go sit down and it all happened in a flash."

Others were obsessed with Becky's confidence, praising her for being brave enough to pause her own wedding.

"I LOVE that she didn’t apologise," one impressed viewer wrote. "It’s her day and she confidently took control of the moment."

"She is so sweet and not a drama queen at all, she handled the situation very well," raved a second.

Becky got her dress fixed and the ceremony continued.

"I'm proud of her. I would’ve realised and kept going and hated myself for not speaking up and not having my full dress in my pics lol," added a third.

It wasn't long before one of her guests had snapped up the bride's skirt and helped her securely attach it to the dress, allowing the wedding to continue as planned.

Thankfully, it looks like Becky and her husband are happily married and the rest of their wedding went off without a hitch. We hope they got the dreamy wedding pics they deserve!
