Man shames girl's Tinder profile because she said dog would sit on you 'with or without permission'

This guy really did not like a girl's profile on Tinder

When swiping left and right on Tinder there are always plenty of red flags to be on the lookout for, those little clues in someone's profile that just give you the wrong vibes tend to be worth trusting.

At worst you might miss out on meeting the person who could end up being the love of your life, but the chances of that happening are pretty slim and coming into contact with a weirdo on the internet is really not worth the risk.

When it comes to red flags everybody's got their own set which will give them bad vibes, though there are some pretty constant ones basically all Tinder users are watching out for.

One guy on Tinder has a very specific red flag which led him to slate a woman's profile on the site for 'consent violation', all because she said her dog would sit on potential dates 'with or without permission'.

Posting the profile online the man split opinions as some reckoned he was being a 'snowflake' for being so upset with this girl, while others agreed it was pretty off-putting.

Plenty reckoned the line in the Tinder profile wasn't really a red flag and this was a mountain made out of a molehill.

The man named Taylor shared screenshots of the woman's dating profile online and declared 'consent violations are a no-go' for him.

All because of one line in her profile where she said: "My dog will sit on your lap with or without your consent. Sorry about that."

Taylor said this line was a 'red flag' for him which quickly kicked off a debate with over a thousand people commenting, most thinking he was being ridiculous for his response to what was probably intended to be a fun line about having a very affectionate dog.

Some called the guy a 'snowflake' and said he was 'virtue signalling' since dogs can't really understand consent, while someone else thought it was ridiculous that he made a 'full ass consent post on a puppy'.

Plenty of others reckoned he would have been much better off if he'd just swiped left and left it at that instead of posting her profile online, with commenters sympathising with the 'poor girl' for having her profile posted.

Some people agreed with the man's post, though they thought it was a bit much when a simple left swipe would have sufficed.

However, some other commenters supported the man's post as they argued 'people who let their dogs invade your personal space are the worst', saying it was 'not cute'.

One person said they were 'not a fan of dogs I don't know jumping on me' and another reckoned it really was a red flag if she was 'saying she'll let her dog invade your space whether you like it or not'.

Someone else said the whole thing was 'not about the dog' and instead was really about 'the owner not caring about the other person's boundaries'.

Some others who supported Taylor thought the woman was making a joke about consent on her Tinder profile and weren't big fans.

One said they didn't approve of 'casually joking about consent', though another admitted they'd 'made similar jokes about my own pets'.

Someone else said 'if a dude said something casually flippant about consent I’d roadrunner my way out of there'.
