Since the release of the 2010 documentary film Catfish, the world has come to realise just how common catfishing is on Tinder, Bumble and all the other online dating apps.
One woman almost became a victim of catfishing, but she quickly realised the man behind the fake Tinder profile she came across had made an embarrassing mistake as he attempted to use someone else's picture as his own.
TikTok user Tanith Gregory posted a video with a screenshot of the Tinder profile titled 'How NOT to catfish 101'. The picture 'Andrew' used on his profile is actually a screenshot that was taken directly from a google search for 'Tim Johnson model' which can be seen at the top of the picture .

The poor attempt at catfishing is evident for anyone with a keen eye because the person who goes by the name 'Andrew' did not crop the Google search from the top of the picture.
"If you're gonna go through the effort of catfishing people on Tinder, Andrew, at least go through the effort of cropping the Google search out," Tanith said as she showed off the profile which claims to be a "fun and loyal" 48-year-old man.
The hilarious expose, which has been viewed more than 356,000 times, has delighted viewers who have chuckled at 'Andrew' and his catfishing faux pas.
"At least put someone who looks 48," one user joked.

Some users made a references to Catfish: The TV Show hosts Nev and Max Joseph. "Imagine Nev and Max doing this one," one user joked.
