TikToker Sarah Collis stunned viewers when sharing her dad’s unusual choice for where their home should be.

Forget semi-detached or even a mansion... Sarah lives in a renovated school.

In a decision she described as ‘outta pocket’, Sarah made a video showing off where she lays her head to rest each night.

The TikTok video has gone viral, amassing over three million likes, with viewers in total disbelief.

Captioned “POV: your dad randomly bought an abandoned school/is fixing it up and now you live here.”

Her dad is in fact a former pupil of the school and couldn’t bear to see it become derelict, after it was abandoned in 2006.

Sarah wrote: "He actually finds things he wrote on desks, doors, walls, etc from years ago, saying things like ‘Jason was here’.”

Sarah took viewers on a ‘house tour’, showing off the assembly rooms still complete with hundreds of chairs, an empty library, gym room and huge playing fields.

She also showed the room she now has as her own bedroom, complete with a big bed, rug and musical instruments.

One person wrote: “It scares me bc there's a lot of ways to go inside.”

Another person said: “Okay, but how do you know you're alone?”

Sarah replied: “We have cameras everywhere but I still think about this.”

She has since posted a follow up video, featuring before and after shots.

This includes further explanation about her bedroom, which was at first a derelict and empty space with an abandoned vending machine.

She added the disclaimer: “There’s been a lot of comments about posting where I live on the internet and how it's dangerous. I know this.

"However, it's already all over Facebook and has been on the internet for years. Its an important part of our town history and is well known. Especially locally but also outside of this town.

"Not to mention we have MULTIPLE security measures in place in case of a break-in.”

She also shared the boiler room, which was an incredibly spooky basement room that had people freaking out in the comments.

One person wrote: “We snuck into my old abandoned school and we heard things coming from the boiler room. I dipped so fast.”

Another said: “I would be terrified.”

I can definitely agree with that.
