'Life changing' iPhone feature that most people don’t know about

Apple customers can't believe they didn't know this nifty trick existed

iPhone owners have been left completely mind-blown by a seemingly new feature which serves as a pretty handy at-home hack.

And interestingly, this one will save you a lot of faffing about when it comes to sorting through your laundry.

Apple customers will know by now that there are a multitude of bizarrely-functioned uses for our mobile phones - aside from making calls and sending texts, that is.

Just last month, many tech-heads were blindsided by the revelation that their iPhone has a never-before-seen feature aimed at helping them improve their sleeping patterns.

Weeks earlier, we discovered a rather helpful hack when it comes to saving our battery, after some users were doubling there's within minutes.

And when we were hit with a heatwave back in June, the technology firm issued a warning over the ways that high temperatures can affect the way your iOS device behaves.

On top of this, as we say, some iPhone owners have recently stumbled across a neat trick when it comes to organising their dirty washing.

Now, I don't know about you, but I have absolutely no idea what those funny little symbols plastered across the tags on our clothes are, which are supposed to tell us how best to wash/not wash/dry our outfits.

I mean, surely we should have been taught what those boxes and circles and crosses mean whilst we were in school?

Anyway, if you're someone that has to Google what these symbols mean every time you're thinking of washing a garment made of unique material or with a unconventional pattern, listen up.

Because let's face it, no one wants to shrink their wooly jumpers with the winter months now impending.

As we say, there's actually a button within your iPhone which will scan your clothing labels and let you know whether to or not to wash each item, as well as whether they can be dried in a machine, or ironed.

The hack will inform you whether and how you should wash each item of clothing. (Tyla)

All you have to do is take a photo of the clothing label attached to your clothes.

Next, upon up the photo full screen from your album.

Along the bottom of your screen should appear four symbols - the option to send your image, the option to favourite it, an information symbol, and a trash can in case you want to delete it.

If you click the information symbol (third one along), it should bring up a list of features, one of which is called 'Look Up: Laundry Care'.

If you click this, it should bring up another list, explaining how that particular item should be treated when washing and drying.

And as we say, the handy has left some iPhone users absolutely dumbfounded.

"damn ☠️ seems like i can’t use my own phone 🤣," one penned on social media this week.

Another went on to claim: "my life is never gonna be the same ☠️"

"Damn! that’s so cool, always struggled with those symbols," a third continued.
