TikToker @hannahroberts175 shared her handy life hack on the video sharing platform – and it went down a storm with other parents struggling with a similar ailment.

The post quickly racked up 2.7 million views, with thousands flocking to the comments to praise Hannah for her super savvy way to ensure babies take medicine.

“This is genius!” one person wrote, while a second agreed: “Genius! Where was this seven and 12 years ago when I needed it!!”

“The gorgeous baby has got that look on its face that’s says ‘I don’t understand this but I’ve a feeling I’m being conned,’” a third laughed at the infant’s puzzled expression.

“We’ve always given medicine to our daughter like this. Saves so much fuss!” said a fourth, and a fifth said: “I’m saving this for the future.”

TikTok has become a haven for new mums, who have been sharing tips, tricks and their experiences after having their little ones.

Another technique that’s attracted attention is the ‘guppy hold’, after a lactation consultant shared a video online.

Danielle Gaus - also known as @theboobyfairy - took to TikTok where she showed followers a video of a 'guppy hold' - which she described as a way of releasing tension in babies, "specifically after a tongue tie release" - also known as a frenotomy.

In the clip, Danielle explains: "After birth, babies often have a little bit of extra tension, the guppy hold is a wonderful way to release some extra tension, specifically after a tongue tie release."

You can watch how that works here.
