You Can Now Order A Three Litre Box Of Pink Gin

The pubs and bars might be closed, the country might be on lockdown and we might be confined to our homes, but as they say, it's happy hour *somewhere*.

And with Pinkster now selling a three litre box of pink gin, happy hour is in our very own homes. In fact, we won't be needing to venture out for supplies for some time.

The aptly named, 'Giant Gin Box' holds a whopping three litres of raspberry gin (which equates to four 75cl bottles) and it really is fast becoming our lockdown essential.

It makes 100 delicious G&Ts that you can sup from the sofa, or in the garden if you're lucky enough to have one. And while it *was* priced at £135, it's currently on sale. You can snap it up here.

The small, independent company took to Instagram to show off their giant gin box, explaining that amidst the coronavirus outbreak, they had decided to slash the price.

"We've slashed the price of our giant gin box to £100 at pinkstergin.com. That's 25% cheaper than usual and a full £50 less than buying the equivalent four and a bit bottles. Free delivery too," they wrote.

"Holding a whopping three litres and serving 100+ G&Ts, we're thinking gin on tap might help keep spirits up in these difficult times. Stay safe, stay strong."

Pinkster is also offering free delivery and you can even add a gift message for free.

Despite the box of gin originally being designed for all the fun-filled summer events we know and love - barbecues, festivals, parties, picnics - Pinkster is proving that having a boozy evening indoors (while drinking responsibly and with members of your household only, of course) cannot be cancelled.

Of course, you can also have your very own virtual gin party with other loved ones via the Houseparty app.

If you're yet to download, the app allows you to video chat with eight pals at once. The screen splits, providing a miniature of each of your friends' faces so you can catch up over a raspberry-infused gin.

Now, we just need a six litre box of tonic water and we'll be good to go...
