The master of good cuisine, Gordon Ramsay has revealed the food he absolutely would not put into his mouth - and it’s shocking.

After sharing his tips and tricks with the public, such as letting us all know which part of the menu to never order from, he’s now back with a food to avoid at all costs.

It turns out that there’s a trick to getting the best bottles of wine for a bargain price, and that’s by ordering from the 'bin end' list, which is comprised of bottles with scratched labels or vintages which haven't sold well.

If you do so, you may be able to grab yourself a bottle of whatever is recommended for no more than $30 (around £23).

His tip for ordering food is to stay away from the 'specials' board if it is teaming with options.

He once commented: "Specials are there to disappear throughout the evening. When they list 10 specials that's not special.”

Thanks Gordon!

Now? He’s got beef with this popular type of food.

The Kitchen Nightmares guru isn’t shy of sharing his opinion about what food is sh*t and what food is worth your money.

As he has spent decades refining his pallet to be one of the best in the biz, you can surely trust his judgement.

But if you’re a frequent flier, you might not be so pleased.

That’s because he’s sworn off any food that is served on a plane.

When it comes to travel, Gordon prefers to eat his own food at his restaurant ‘Plane Food’ in London’s Heathrow airport and won’t dare touch the in-flight menu.

He explained that if he’s not eating at his diner, he keeps ‘it light’ and nabs some lovely pre-flight snacks at an Italian bar, but that’s as far as he’s willing to go.

He explained to Refinery29: "A nice selection of Italian meats, a little glass of red wine, some sliced apples or pears with some parmesan cheese, I’m like a pig in sh*t.”

As soon as it’s time for take-off, it’s a different story.

The gruff chef said: "There’s no f*cking way I eat on planes.

"I worked for airlines for ten years, so I know where this food’s been and where it goes, and how long it took before it got on board."

It’s not shocking that he’s got some strong opinions on what goes in his mouth, as he’s been known to be a heavy critic when he was filming his The F Word series which ran for five seasons.

In that show, the Brit would go around and destroy the confidence of every restaurant owner and chef he met but managed to save the business from total disaster by judging their food, operation and customer service.

So, if there was anyone who had the qualification to decided what’s a good meal and what should go in the bin, it’s Gordon.

However, I personally wouldn’t have him at any establishment I owned if I wanted to keep my eyes dry.
